Great bit of research. I like it a lot.--Bobbing up 05:46, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

Of course, "Peter Moore" is a known Ken DeMeyer alias. I love how the only links praising his shit are those he spammed forums with himself. That must have been operation waste everyone's time. --JeevesMkII 06:57, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Thank you Sir. Will add that bit of info accordingly. --PsyGremlinWhut? 07:51, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Great stuff. The best possible answer to "Look how fantastic out article is". I would try to add to it if: It were in mainspace and I had a tad more time on my hands. Isn't it mainspace (or CP space) ready? I'd vote for it to be on our frontpage.--Bobbing up 08:48, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Thanks Bob :) I think ultimately it might be best to combine this and Jeeves' one on Evolution and put it in the mainspace. That's why I'd want guys to look it over first - especially the search parameters I used. The last thing we want is to give him weasel room. --PsyGremlinWhut? 08:55, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Frank Walton is another well-known anti-atheism fruit-cake try searching for him in Google. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 09:04, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Sheesh! I see what you mean - Google turned up some interesting things - will update accordingly. Thanks! --PsyGremlinWhut? 09:13, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

Nice job, and here are a few more points of interest:

  • Here's the Google Cache of the EvolutionFairytale thread (started by "Peter Moore", and it begins with "I created most the Conservapedia atheism article located here").
  • "jonathondickenson" (Internet Infidels thread) is another Ken alias. Do a Google search for jonathondickenson conservapedia and you'll find a few more threads on Internet Infidels and the Dawkins forum by/about him. Here's another Atheism Pimping thread full of Ken-isms and announcements that he feels that something will soon happen in regards to the Atheism article, complete with posting the link about every third post or so. Oh, and then there's his quasi-admission of being the CP editor: "Amendments to the atheism article have been made based on the feedback of atheists. For example, the information regarding Hume. Please make a reasonable defense of just one of the additional amendments that you believe should be made. I have shown good faith by making previous amendments."
  • The Sourcewatch issue is also 99.99% Ken, though it's a bit harder to prove. I'll just say this: Someone joins and only makes edits to the CP article (while needing a whole bunch of edits just to insert that sentence) before making his last edit, a "Glad to be here!" de-redlinking of his userpage. Yeah, that's not suspicious at all. Especially not when the three pimped articles just happen to be Atheism, Homosexuality and Evolution. Just like Darren777 only joined Wikiquote to add CP to the quotelist for Atheism. Nope, most definitely not him, no sir... I'd normally also point to the ResearchID.org wiki, but it's down. Ken had a whole bunch of accounts there, and I recall at least one of them also having the "Glad to be here!" line on the userpage.

If anything, trust Ken to have more sock names than any CP vandal. --Sid 10:05, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

I think we've found what "Operation Whatever-the-fuck" is then... ArmondikoVbomination 10:25, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Eh. His forum spamming spree was from last year, and the wiki spamming (which was moderately senseless for Google ratings because Mediawiki external links are tagged as "nofollow" anyway) was from early this year or so. I think he then moved on to spamming blog comments under yet more names (I think it was around the time he openly called out the About.com dude), and at some point, he also bribed various blog owners, YouTube people and various other minor sites into featuring his pet articles prominently (check his contribs for when he "just noticed" how some YouTube video featured his article's URL or when he started creating CP articles about various Anti-Atheism blogs). I didn't bother to check out what his recent Operations are about, though. --Sid 12:19, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
I know that some of this is old but it's good to have it collated and documented somewhere as most of it is scattered around teh intertubes.  Lily Ta, wack! 12:56, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Yes, most definitely! It's always fascinating (and slightly scary) to see just how far he goes to promote himself and his pet article. On the flipside, you could say that Ken is CP's most dedicated editor. ;) --Sid 13:09, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
The word I'd use is obsessive, but that's just my opinion.  Lily Ta, wack! 13:20, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
Well, I was aiming for the "how to put a positive spin on it" angle there. :P --Sid 14:30, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
One thing you've got to admit: he's not put off by being pwned everywhere he goes. has anyone found anywhere where his rabbitting has been accepted as "gospel" truth? SusanG  ContribsTalk 14:43, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

Moar[edit]

Actually it's just about the Lenski letter, but good fun to listen to. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 12:06, 13 October 2008 (EDT)
Just finished having a listen to it - had a good chuckle. Thanks for the link. --PsyGremlinWhut? 13:29, 13 October 2008 (EDT)
