There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff — we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.
If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2018.

Doubtful News (sometimes Doubtful Newsblog) is a skeptical news aggregator focusing on cryptozoology and the paranormal "because people really believe this stuff." Run by Sharon Hill and Torkel Ødegård, the blog was also formerly syndicated on Skeptic.com. It launched on August 25, 2011.
The site was begun to fill a gap in the market for a "one-stop source of breaking news of interest to critical thinkers that was not primarily straight science offerings or opinions." It is useful in that it reports on more than just the major stories of the time—with the potential to report on lesser stories before they become big—and will keep with a story after it fades from view, allowing followup information to be more easily found.
