Yeah, this should be reworked to be more scholarly or moved to the essay space, in my opinion. HeartGoldDemonstrate the spirit of stupor 20:58, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
It is nothing more than a bunch of OT quotes and misrepresentations. I personally like the 'it is shocking how many women can stand to be Christians". That is a "lightening rod" statement if I have ever heard one! Resident vandal
I'm pretty sure this article is the perfect example of Quote mining Resident vandal

You two; its a bit of an one sided conversation? It does need some actual wordage or else it should be sent somewhere as 'a list of anti-female bible quotes'. Keepyour headdown

I also note that the talk page is almost entirely you Bohdan and Heart browbeating the author, who hasn't been given a chance to respond before mucking about with their work. If it does go to Essay, then Heart's removal and Bohdan's renaming would be entirely inappropriate. --Kels 21:14, 27 July 2007 (CDT)

I'd bin it unless someone can make an article out of it. It's all elsewhere anyhoo Keepyour headdown 21:32, 27 July 2007 (CDT)

Why is it shocking that there are women who can stand to be Christian? Has it ever occurred to the author in question (or any feminist on rationalwiki for that matter) that the stories in the Old Testament about woman are more important to most people than the laws are? — Unsigned, by: 74.97.30.242 / talk / contribs

Not all reports of women in the bible are in the negative. Theres Deborah, that woman who killed that warrior with a hammer and tent peg, Esther and a couple of female disciples who are praised for their actions.
