Is there an explanation for this? An example video:

When I googled it:

http://www.donotlink.com/e4y3

Example crackpot article:

http://www.donotlink.com/e4y4

I have yet to see a non-crackpot explanation. I've seen soem people claim rapture, some claim UFOs, the Government, etc.— Unsigned, by: 71.222.58.94 / talk / contribs

No one is clicking your links because they represent tedious time wasting. No one is buying your "Just asking questions" schtick either. ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 14:03, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

For anyone who may come across this thread in the future, the first link is a news story about "mysterious disappearances" in U.S. National Parks, positing 400 disappearances "under unusual circumstances". A line that I think is pretty telling is that most of these disappearances are described as "children disappearing from right under their parents' noses". Horrifying, but that's what kids can do if you don't keep a close eye on them. Other "unusual circumstances" (for example, shedding clothes) do have perfectly logical explanations (see: Dyatlov Pass Incident).
Also, if you're thinking the other users here being a bit harsh on what appears to be an innocent question, check the contribs on the IP OP. He's been posting a mess of gobbledygook in the order of magnitude of millions of characters long, that amount to be nothing more than "Google, copy results, paste results."
