There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |
Fighting pseudoscience isn't free. We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with ![]() ![]() |

What Should I Do? is the most important question to ask yourself in any ethical conundrum. Because let's face it, half the time when you ask yourself What Would Jesus Do?, the answer is going to be "turn water into wine and PARTAY!!!"
Similarly, when asking oneself What Would Reagan Do?, the answer will always be "cut taxes!"
The danger of relying upon "WSID" is that generally in times why you should be asking yourself, WSID, instead, you ask yourself "Wouldn't that be awesome????"
Also, being that the "you" in question is not generally super human, you don't get the same moral authority to tell others what YOU would do, and expect that they give a damn.
