Fun talk:More insidious examples of political correctness

This should never have been moved from the mainspace article. Out of context, it's not even funny. ħuman 04:17, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hate to break it to you, human. It wasn't funny in context either. --Kels 04:23, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Beg to disagree. But maybe I was the only one who thought they "got the joke". Did you ever read the entire article from start to finish? In bits and pieces, it doesn't work. You have to read it all. Oh well, If I'm the only one who liked it, I can always copy my favorite diff to user space or essay. ħuman 04:28, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- The list looks like one of Andy's "essays". I think the rest of the article is better off without it. Some of them are funny, but I thought it was just too long. Maybe move a few of your favorites back to the Language section. Jorge (don't believe a word he says) 04:32, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- That's the whole fucking point! Why don't you guys "get" the joke that the PC article is/was? I moved them all back (undid your cut and paste). Please argue against individual items on the talk page? Surely some could go, but removing them all ruined the article. ħuman 04:34, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Keep it, then. Put what you want back, I've gotten to the point of not caring any longer. --Kels 04:36, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- As I stated on the other talk-page, I get the joke, but support the removal of the long section for being too rambling. ListenerXTalkerX 04:37, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Why don't we just carefully pare it down? No need to quarantine it here. Surely we can discuss individual lines on the talk page? This whole thing started with Jorge, an editor/sysop who yesterday blocked Ungsst for "disagreeing" (which I let fly, but really he should have been chastised at AA), wanting to "Clean This Up". Next thing we know, he cut the entire section out and moved it to "fun". Is that how we "edit" articles? ħuman 04:40, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- I think we've agreed that moving some of the items back to the "Language" section of the main article is fine. Jorge is still sorry for whatever he did 19:50, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Paring down/deleting this list[edit]
It seems to me that majority of the items on this list still are not funny and some are not even examples of political correctness. Anyone else think this needs paring down or deleting?--The General talk to me 15:29, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
