2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Caring about verb tense is a good thing[edit]

At least it is in my book, referring to what you did here.

In case you need access to the custodian's closet, there it is. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 22:56, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Yay, thank you! I'm glad that at least someone appreciates my pedantry :P *fetches mop and bucket*--The General talk to me 18:47, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

Tip[edit]

You can do the "unsigned" thing by:

  1. copying the offender's name or IP address to the appropriate place;
  2. selecting same;
  3. clicking on {{subst:unsigned|}} in the "Templates" section in the edit assistance box below the edit box.(if that makes sense)

This has the advantage of using "subst" which means that should the template be altered in future, your edit will stay 'as is'. Regards Scream!! (talk) 23:11, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

Ah, thanks for the tip :) - I hadn't really examined the edit assistance box until now. Embarrassed that I didn't remember to subst; should be doing that for server load purposes anyway!--The General talk to me 01:17, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
