Vote not counted[edit]
I can't find my individual vote in the ballot file and I definitely voted. Did this happen to anyone else? CowHouse (talk) 12:28, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure if mine's in there either. You might have to ask @David Gerard —Kazitor 12:48, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- That's the file as I got it off the server.... - David Gerard (talk) 12:58, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- Just checked, that's the file - except the "7 3" first line is spurious (not that it makes any difference to the result) - David Gerard (talk) 13:02, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- I think it might be my bad, are the names meant to be alphabetical order? I just copied them straight from the election booth page. —Kazitor 13:04, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- The moderator election ballots were listed alphabetically and my vote is there if you look at it alphabetically. That just means it has been counted incorrectly. It makes more sense too, considering how LeftyGreenMario easily won the moderator election, since it means 11 people voted for LeftyGreenMario (not Pbfreespace3) and 10 people voted for David Gerard (not RobSmith). - @CowHouse you should wait for a returning officer before changing the winners. It looks like you're attempting to rig the election so your preferred candidates win. --92.232.68.146 (talk) 13:52, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- I have no doubt at all that the alphabetical results are correct, since my vote was not in the old ballot, but I'll wait for confirmation. In case there is an argument about this, I should point out that RobSmith received 16 anti-endorsements which was more than any other candidate. So, with that in mind, compare the two ballots:
- Original ballot: David Gerard ranked 7th (out of 7) by 8 voters. RobSmith ranked 7th by 0 voters.
- Alphabetical ballot: RobSmith ranked 7th (out of 7) by 8 voters. David Gerard ranked 7th by 0 voters. CowHouse (talk) 15:24, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
