When do these, well, come out? The Invisible ManI spoke to Him 05:49, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

My home internet is out so will have to wait till I can get some time at work tomorrow. Tmtoulouse (talk) 05:51, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Trent, can you please link the candidates names to the numbers because something doesn't look quite right to me. Redchuck.gif ГенгисOur ignorance is God; what we know is science.Moderator 18:59, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
It is based on the order at RationalWiki:Moderator elections/Election booth, what doesn't look right? Tmtoulouse (talk) 19:07, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Why is ConservapediaMarkman ahead of brxbrx? Redchuck.gif ГенгисOur ignorance is God; what we know is science.Moderator 19:11, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Your right. That got transposed on the candidate list page but not in the election extension. So brxbrx is the alternate. Tmtoulouse (talk) 19:21, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. Redchuck.gif ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic?Moderator 19:22, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Well that was amusing. Just out of curiosity, is there any way in which I can know how well did I fare? I know that I must be either No. 10/11/12/13, I'm just curious as to which one and how many voted for me. - ConservapediaMarkman (talk) 19:35, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
You were number 3. Redchuck.gif ГенгисmutatingModerator 19:43, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
You can use this webpage to run the election and see the results, we use scottish stv method, I will upload a ballot format file. Tmtoulouse (talk) 19:40, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────I'm thoroughly confused. Apparently I'm No. 3 even though I see that the least number of votes were counted for me. Shouldn't I be No. 1? Is the person getting the least votes is listed as No.1 and vice versa? Is that a joke related to this whole "demotion" concept?

Another question: I gather that in the transferable vote system not all votes given for me are votes counted for me. Is that true? - ConservapediaMarkman (talk) 19:55, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

You were candidate number 3. You received no first-place votes, and no surplus votes from the elections of AD, David Gerard, Genghis Khant and Sophie Wilder, so you were eliminated in the first elimination pass. Hipocrite (talk) 19:59, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
I get it now, thanks for the info. - ConservapediaMarkman (talk) 20:03, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
