There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

"Alternatives"?[edit]
People who may substitute are called "alternates". I'd like the site notice to be changed but I can't find it. — Unsigned, by: The Moose / talk / contribs

To-do[edit]
Per 2017-2018 results, I've summarized a list of what to add to this page.
- Election process. Includes the pattern of when elections take place and who actually runs the elections. Includes what goes on once an election starts.
- Nominations the first step, how they work (and a link to nominations page), and nominator qualifications. If users accept their nomination, they will campaign in RationalWiki:Moderator elections/Campaigning (by the way, that page needs a how-to on formatting; we shouldn't have to refer to archives to figure out how a page is set up!). What endorsements and anti-endorsements are, and how they work. Also, mentions the time frame of how long nominations go.
- Voter qualifications. This is also mentioned in RationalWiki:Moderator elections/Election booth.
- When voting starts, how voting works, and how votes are calculated. Also, mentions the time frame of how long votes go.
- Voting ends, top most-voted users get the position.
- Post-election discussion is in the RationalWiki:Moderator elections/Results subpage.

Wasn't voting supposed to end three hours ago?[edit]
If you visit special:election it appears to still be open. Christopher (talk) 20:27, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
- David is in charge of this side of things. He's aware that the election ends on December 3. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 21:40, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
Can I be the one to promote/demote the mods?[edit]
