Everything in quotes needs a reference. Everything - David Gerard (talk) 22:45, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Techinically, it all is referenced. I just need the time to double back on each reference. these are direct quotes from NSEC's "voices for evoultion"
Evolution of religion[edit]
Thought this article would mention that, although Wikipedia already has a pretty nice article on the topic, so I don't know if it's worth adding. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 16:51, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, though teh title of this article might be worth changing - i was trying to put together a resource of what various religious bodies actually say about evo (and abortion on the other page), cause i think there's a lot of people who think "religion" in general, does not accept evo or abotion, when the fact is that is quite wrong. We do need an evo of religion peice, but i'm dubious about lots of it, as it's so deeply rooted in speculation.GodotDear god, fucking grow up 16:54, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Who thinks that all religious sects preach creationism? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 17:10, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- It actually comes as quite a shock to some people in these very groups, the reverend at my (United Methodist) church was met with disbelief when he mentioned that a creationism bill was idiotic once. TyBother me 17:13, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Once again demonstrating that the term "Cafeteria Christian" is redundant. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 17:54, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Some one actually cried out the time he mentioned how silly the idea of the rapture is. Shame he retired and got replaced by ultra-conservative anti-science evangelical dude. TyBother me 17:57, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Neb, i'm going to guess that you don't hang out around religious types too often, or the uber atheist. I can't tell you how many times I want to slap these "new athist" aggressive anti-religion types for making these kinds of generalizations about religions and the religious thinking alike. - Should I join a Dawkins fan club or something? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 18:29, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
