- Bye bye. ТyTalk. 01:13, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- Well, bear in mind that he also calls himself "alanorei" online - Google that and you turn up a few pages on FSTDT mocking him, followed by his blog. Baljit (talk) 19:01, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- Some discussion of this is occurring here and here. It couldn't be discussed here because the article was being deleted too quickly. Anyway, Baljit will be along to improve this article and/or defend it. ONE / TALK 14:08, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- I say give it 48 hours to see if the creator steps up and establishes notability. If they can't after that, then we 86 it, but give them a "while it was good, it just wasn't notable" explanation. Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 14:46, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I've added a mention of his book, and after doing some research I've found that he's actually had official involvement with the BNP (albeit on a small-scale, local level). Is that enough? (For what it's worth, I'm planning to add more to the 'views' section later - he's said some interesting things about Catholics, homosexuals and UFOs - but I'm guessing that adds little to his notability) Baljit (talk) 18:28, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- Could you also create some wikilinks from other articles into this one, please? P-Foster (talk) 18:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, always the difficult one to achieve, especially when people aren't that famous. Would a link from the BNP page be reasonable? And do we have existing articles of individuals with similar views that would justify a "see also"? gnostic 18:53, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- I added him to List of internet kooks and the "see alsos" for the British National Party, Geocentrism and Creationism in the UK - any suggestions for more? Baljit (talk) 19:01, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

Images[edit]
While looking for sources on him I found a couple of pages with images: [1][2] Would it constitute fair use to add one of them to the article? Baljit (talk) 10:39, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- It wouldn't count as "fair use" because you have to actually have a reason for displaying the image or text, such as fair criticism of it directly. Merely illustrating a point isn't sufficient, which is why WP needs a fair use rationale for each article a FU picture appears on, not just a FU rationale for uploading the image. gnostic 12:53, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
He's idiotic, he stands for a great deal we don't like, there's a case for keeping the article and showing how stupid BNP YEC etc is. I'm not Jesus (talk) 11:07, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
So....[edit]
I think this article may have established some notability. What say the mob we keep this? Certainly, it needs copyediting left and right, but I think it's good enough to remove the delete template. The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 14:32, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
