2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

I'm having real trouble digging past enough woo to find reliable citations for this article! Helen 19:14, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

'Category of objects designed for a specific purpose at the time, but also, once the instructions have been deliberately disposed of, specifically to annoy the descendants.' (Also add Stonehenge, Nazca lines, Antikythera device ...)

Considerably more Occam's Razor compliant than most conspiracy theories. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 18:31, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

The BB 'proves' that there were 'mad scientists' in the Ancient World. Given the events of the time and locality and the existence of early weapons of destruction at a distance could the BB be an early grenade? 82.44.143.26 (talk) 16:26, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Science-based videos[edit]

I've run across a trio of YT videos about the "battery". Would it be cool to include them as external links?
