2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Tasty?[edit]

I propose a redirect to Sky kittens. Yours trulyDear Sir 13:49, 22 January 2009 (EST)

Ha! Done. Chris Fanshaw 20:36, 25 January 2009 (EST)
I reversed the move. I do apologize for referring to it as vandalism—I was not aware at the time that anyone had proposed moving it on the talk page. Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 20:43, 25 January 2009 (EST)
I do not think we should move it. It may strike some people as funny, but that doesn't mean we should do it. I remind you that our silliness is reserved for the content of articles; the article title at least should accurately reflect the subject of the article. OK, but why do we have poems in mainspace anyway? WėąṣėḷőįďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 20:45, 25 January 2009 (EST)
Having read the article, I do think it should be in the funspace. Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 20:46, 25 January 2009 (EST)
You people are impossible to please. You wanted an article about birds. So I wrote an article about birds. Do you deny that this article accurately reflects core aspects of the nature of birds? Chris Fanshaw 20:50, 25 January 2009 (EST)
I don't think it deals with any of the RW missions. Wouldn't poems be better in your userspace, or in fun? WėąṣėḷőįďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 20:53, 25 January 2009 (EST)
Matter of interpretation. Birds are a symbol of freedom, the opposite of authoritarianism. Tangentially on mission. Chris Fanshaw 20:58, 25 January 2009 (EST)

Mistake[edit]

The article says that reptiles don't taste as good as birds. Galapagos tortoises are reportedly delicious.--Thedoctor80 (talk) 17:00, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
