Sources[edit]
Must find sources for this other than his ideological enemies at the Guardian ... - David Gerard (talk) 15:40, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- More dirt here but I'm still struggling to make sense of exactly what happened and track it down.

- And, of course, this spectacle.

- And, of course, this spectacle.
- I just tried to watch the Alex Jones YouTube. I lasted fifteen seconds - David Gerard (talk) 16:36, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Lordship (Lordness?)[edit]
AFAIK, he was born a commoner - his grandfather got one of the last hereditary peerages handed by the Crown after he was already born. Relevant? --ZooGuard (talk) 09:23, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Not really, doesn't play into the pseudolaw he uses nor the annoyance of the House of Lords. If you can work it in without it looking like a lump on the side, fine by me - David Gerard (talk) 11:02, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
An invitation to a Monckton event[edit]
I am attending an invitation only lecture by one Christopher Monckton on Friday afternoon. The topic: "Is Global Warming another Y2K". For some reason a totally unscientific, no political organisation with no links to climate in any way, shape or form has invited him to speak. I got invited as I work for a similar organisation. As soon as I saw it was Monckton I knew I had to go. I will report back. Aceof Spades 20:59, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- Take a camera, in case there are any slides with swastikas. And it's funny he's comparing it to Y2K - that was an actual problem, though overblown by the media and some End Times types. It was a non-issue because a lot of money and effort was spent to fix it.--ZooGuard (talk) 06:52, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Don't forget a bingo card. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 06:54, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Birther[edit]
That word you used, I do not think it means what you think it means.--ZooGuard (talk) 16:36, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- And again: Monckton in a US flag suit, with a cowboy hat and a crucifix on his neck. And here's the source video. Pretty... republican of him. :) "Hell hath no fury like a Viscount scorned (by the House of Lords)"?--ZooGuard (talk) 19:10, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Deleted Ankh-Morpork quote[edit]
I would rather keep the AM quote, as it's rather descriptive and dead on. I'm letting the mob decide, but being a Pratchertt fan, it sits quite well with me. :-)--Godot 15:59, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I like it too, but it doesn't add a great deal and the article's a bit quote-heavy - David Gerard (talk) 18:41, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

- With Brx who took it out, clearly voting "out" that's 3 to 1. gone it is.--

- I'd prioritise quotes from Monckton, rather than about him, unless the source is more notable than just "commentator". Which is sad, because it is quite a good one, but it's also terribly niche.
