um, what?[edit]

- Metapedia interest is tangentially on-mission - David Gerard (talk) 12:13, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
- Gets misquoted and used out of context to advance a political agenda, so probably missiony. Rennie McGreet (talk) 12:53, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think it's worth having for that reason. I think it's worth having fewer people go on believing the crap that Nazis put out about this guy in order to seem legitimate. Should I remove the notice if there are no more objections? Inquisitor Sasha Ehrenstein des Sturmkrieg Sector (talk) 14:50, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Cause of mass rape[edit]
I think we should look into whether this guy made rape jokes, and this would explain the rape of hundreds of thousands of women. Except Antony Beevor already debunked the claim that this guy caused rape. Inquisitor Sasha Ehrenstein des Sturmkrieg Sector 05:42, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know if this is satire or an attempt to make light of rape; either way it's not clear why you posted this. Blue (pester) 06:03, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- It was dumb. It was a satirical point along the lines of Hitler didn't play doom on the "video games totally make people violent" issue. It didn't belong here. Inquisitor Sasha Ehrenstein des Sturmkrieg Sector 23:13, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
" There happen to be no legitimate historians who claim that the Germans were "victims" of "genocide" during World War II"[edit]
Of course not stupid. German suffering in the war has been completely ignored until a few books were published discussing it in the last 20 years. Although Germany was almost completely decimated in the war, the number of deaths are greatly downplayed, lied about, and atrocities by the allies such as Dresden (at least 135,000 murdered) are compared to Coventry (about 300 people killed) or Guernica (under 100 people killed). Ilya Ehrenburg advocated raping German women and murdering German civilians on sight in his newspaper columns. Leaflets were dropped on Soviet soldiers advocating murder and rape of civilians. Historians covered up the mass rape committed by Soviets, but also by Americans and British. It's only been in the last 15 years that it has been discussed in a few periodicals, films and books in Germany, but every German knew of the wide-scale rape committed by the allies, particularly Soviets against German women. — Unsigned, by: 162.227.163.117 / talk 13:08, 27 July 2018
- ”Historians covered up the mass rape committed by Soviets, but also by Americans and British.” Ah, yes the big historians’ conspiracy which apparently lasted until both the last 20 and 15 years. And what are the sources for this, apparently deliberate, cover up lasting for more than 50 years? Oh, and if you do the bare minimum of checking the other wiki’s article on rapes during the occupation of Germany, you’ll find a quote from a Solzhenitsyn book from 1977, Svetlana Alexievich’s book on women and war from 1988, and a dedicated historical book on the Russian occupation from 1995. So apparently the cover up didn’t work too well. I’m not quite sure when I heard of it first, but I think it might have been around the 50th anniversary of the liberation and that means it was probably through some form of mass media coverage.
