Comments[edit]

Is the scattering of ungrammaticals intentional or going to be ironed out? , No mention of this? Anna Livia (talk) 14:45, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

Flint stones[edit]

As the flint age was largely replaced by 'the metal ages' (though there would be some overlap/local usages), the calculations are probably wrong

As for Chapter X - no mention of Mary Toft.

If Genghis Khan had been 'a dunce shepherd' #that is what he would have remained# (and what about Roman Ungern von Sternberg?)

The Venusians (if they evolved) would be either 'simple lifeforms in the upper layers of the atmosphere' or incapable of living on cool Earth. Anna Livia (talk) 15:02, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Title of the page[edit]

I changed the page title from "The Book of betrayed secrets (Robert Charroux, 1969)" to "Le Livre des Secrets Trahis" because the person who created the page (User:GleoLenzic) is a native French speaker who relied on the French edition to begin this page. The French edition also appears to have been more popular (having gone through multiple printings) than the English edition. Also the English edition, as noted on the page, is actually "Legacy of the Gods". Bongolian (talk) 00:57, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Lands under the sea[edit]

There has always been 'flooding, coastal erosion and similar geographical change' and some of it will have been at least partially influenced by human activity, earthquakes etc causing downward vertical land movement and, in modern times eg this place, and also causeways and other lands exposed at low tide. It would thus be possible for early peoples to conflate these various components to create stories of lost kingdoms (especially if they were aware of sea peoples, traders on boats etc).
