Liberal Hero?[edit]

I've been seeing this image going around, and conservative blogs are filled up with discussions on this. I had never heard of the guy until that image surfaced, and I tend to consider myself more liberal than conservative. However, conservatives seem to know exactly who he is and what this image is referring to. I can't find any sources that aren't just conservative blogs (there are many people in comments sections that are told to "Google it" who respond with "Google leads back here."), and the last edit on this wiki page seems to be in February, so nothing current there. 76.106.251.87 (talk) 15:56, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

It seems Obama himself never called Louis Farrakhan a hero. Rather, he endorsed a professor who once did.
Ha! Conservatives, hoist by your own petard. And frankly, few liberals will give Louis Farrakhan much credit.--"Shut up, Brx." 16:07, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
Also, Wikipedia has an extensive article on the man. I'm surprised Google didn't send you there first.--"Shut up, Brx." 16:09, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
It did send me there first. I couldn't find any useful information on the subject. All I could gather was that he was some kind of extremist with views that would seem counter-intuitive for a liberal to support. 76.106.251.87 (talk) 23:32, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Does Nation of Islam[edit]

In the same way that Kermit Gosnell was a doctor, I suppose. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 17:45, 19 October 2015 (UTC)

Video[edit]

Can someone here at rationalwiki include this 30 year old interview clip of Louis Farrakhan on the Phil Donahue show that has been appearing on social media lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epjb-A6vOhQ https://jewishjournal.com/culture/317455/chelsea-handler-calls-farrakhan-video-powerful/ I believe this clip is a classic example of a stopped clock moment for Farrakhan and why many people in the black community gravitate towards him and tend to overlook his racial bigotry, homophobia, and sexism .
