President[edit]

I hope she does run for President in 2012! If she gets the nomination, it'll give Obama time to focus on things that matter. Wehpudicabok 03:55, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

That and, unlike Pawlenty, nobody in MN outside of the 6th distric thinks she's anything more than a nutcase.Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 03:58, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Over at WorldNutDaily some of the sad old men were getting excited (well after they took a pill) about the prospect of a Bachmann-Palin ticket. Making jokes about that would be way to easy. John Stewart must stay up a night praying for that.- π 03:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh, if there is a God, I hope so! That's be comedic gold! The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 04:00, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
My prediction for that would be Obama-??:535, Bachmann-Palin:3; I reckon they would still carry Alaska. - π 04:06, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
You have to give the benefit of the doubt here: they would probably still carry Texas, too.Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 04:09, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
In truth, without a very influential southern running mate, Obama wouldn't carry the south. - π 04:13, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Time for a website?[edit]

stupidthingsmichelebachmannhassaid.com sounds like a good name.

Marcus' Closet[edit]

I'm not sure how comfortable I am in speculating about another man's sexuality. The "fact tag" was oddly placed...what, exactly, is being challenged by the tag? Is Marcus a closeted homosexual person? Or that some people have suggested this to be the case. 21:43, 3 October 2011 (UTC) C®ackeЯ

We are not speculating. this is a very very common assumption and worth stating as such. I put a fact tag there, cause we should pull the quotes from Kos, as well as Huffington that do the actual speculation. but it is news that real people, in real positions of "media power" whatever that means, are out there guessing about his sexuality.Pink mowse.pngGodotThe Peyote God awaits 00:42, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I guess she will have to rely on her husband's practice now...--Colonel Sanders (talk) 04:16, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Her husband's reaction when she mentions him in her speech was priceless. Sam Tally-ho! 04:20, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Stewart's been on a roll all week. Someone get a photo of that for the article. Osaka Sun (talk) 05:43, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Anoka / Minnesota Legislation[edit]

Perhaps I'm being driven by my hatred of Bachmann here, but I had a search on RW for anything regarding her and this Rolling Stone article, one of the few things that upsets me every time I read it, because so few seem to be aware of the connection between Bachmann and the suicides.

An RW search of Anoka brought me solely to the Parents Action League article, which gave some note on the legislation, but makes no mention of Bachmann's part in it.

Might I suggest this be given a brief mention, linked with the PAL article, and cited via the RS article? I don't feel comfortable with making an addition without another's input, but to me, whenever I read this, it makes me think of blood on Bachmann's hands. Irrational? Maybe so. But whatever. I'll leave it to people smarter than I for the time being. --Polite Timesplitter (talk) 15:21, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Go ahead and write it, if you think it's noteworthy. Theory of Practice "Trampoline" is an Olympic sport now? 15:48, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

According to...[edit]

...The Onion Bachmann, wants homosexuals decapitated, Muslims hanged, and (non)creationists dead. As with the Homo part, I'm homo, with the non-creationist part, well, bad luck for us all.--Thrinaxodon (talk) 18:41, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
