Talk:Microwave oven
Real woo[edit]
Unless there is real woo concerning microwave ovens or real conspiracy theories surrounding them, I think this would be better off in funspace (at least with the way it is now). Sam Tally-ho! 22:14, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Yes there really is, I have linked to some, I shall use more. The article is not finished. Feel free to add stuff. SophieWilder 22:26, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

"Well, water absolutely tastes worse when microwaved."[edit]
This assertion from a relative at a Thanksgiving dinner gave credence to all sorts of microwave phobias from others gathered for the meal. I was a bit struck by the silliness of some of the classic complaints (some mentioned in this wiki entry), but I didn't have a solid answer. Here is one article that attempted to address the topic. I guess it's plausible, and would make a sound counter to an irrational fear:

The 'conspiracy'[edit]

Nazi highways[edit]
" we shouldn't use things the Nazis invented, we would also have to stop driving cars on highways"
The Nazis didn't invent highways/motorways. There were highways in Italy and New York before Hitler came to power and there were even highways in Germany as far back as 1921. — Unsigned, by: FHH / talk / contribs
