Talk:Nikolai Vavilov
Quick request, if anyone cares: I'm still unsure on how to attach an image to the wiki, but if someone could stick the photo of Vavilov on this page, that would be amazing of them. If that's allowed; I'm still a bit fuzzy on Wiki copyleft. Nobby 00:18, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Who controls the past controls the future[edit]
Lysenkoism was "made official in 1948... As a direct result of this, Vavilov was imprisoned for “ruining Soviet agriculture” and died of malnutrition in 1943." Time travel, or maybe just getting the facts wrong? You decide! — Unsigned, by: Totnesmartin / talk / contribs (signed by bot) 14:14, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
call for vote on an issue[edit]

- At ease, user. I don't see a list of awards you are proposing on other scientists' pages. It appears that the practice is to let scientists stand and fall by the merits of their science rather than their awards. Oppose Hertzy (talk) 13:20, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- in reply to user Hertzy, this user posted the policy poll in the saloon bar as a method to clarify the stance of rationalwiki regarding the matter for all persons who received awards and punishments for practicing science, rationalism and logical process. user JorisEnter moved it to this talk page.FAMAS (talk) 08:19, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
