Maddox and Penn go public
If you haven't done so already or in a while, (re)watch their episode on Old People. When that's done, consider this video that Maddox put up where he flames Bullshit!. But then , his top comment became this - Penn replied and Maddox buried the hatch completely. Here's their whole discussion, Tweets and all (which we can source) - Maddox was pretty blown away by Penn. And I think Penn handled it like a boss. So, an interesting, related story with a sweet ending no less. Totally notable for the article. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 23:40, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
- Good catch! I hadn't seen that episode yet. I just watched it and added a section on it. That Maddox guy still comes off as an asshole and is unfunny as hell, but I don't doubt for a moment that his interview was quote-mined. Carpetsmoker (talk) 15:16, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Cranks respond to the 9/11 episode: "Perhaps Penn and Teller would like to do a show where they melt WTC steel with nothing more than jet fuel: it would be quite the magic trick..." Carpetsmoker (talk) 09:28, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Why create the whole nice table format and then break it up with H3 headings? It'd be wonderful it it were a sortable table for each season. Sir ℱ℧ℤℤϒℂᗩℑᑭƠℑᗩℑƠ (talk/stalk) 21:06, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- It's to allow easy permalinks and edit links for epidoes. It was a sortable list before, and I spent a lot of time mucking about getting permalinks in that (which eventually worked) but could never get a workable "edit" link. It was a pain editing one or two small details for an individual episode. I eventually decided that a sortable list wasn't *that* much of an advantage... Some 9/11 truthers are "good guys" because their motives are patriotic?
- Huh, it also doesn't sound very patriotic to cast the U.S. government as directly responsible for killing its own citizens. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 18:14, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
Episode 3.5 missing
I noticed that Showtime no longer has episode 3.5, or the one about Mother Theresa and friends, available on streaming. Is it just my region (west coast usa)? Has any one else noticed this? I like to think that there is a conspiracy of some kind here, but most likely Showtime got tired of the massive loads of hate mail this episode must generate.
A bit of internet searching revealed nothing at all except the episode page is still on the Showtime website. That said, I don't really know how to find information on this sort of thing. Lgs (talk) 08:04, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
