YouTube[edit]

I was just putting a bunch of random things on YouTube to see if there were any results... "No Videos found for 'rationalwiki'". CP has a few, but mainly just "WTH?!" style. Fuzzy|AFD 20:53, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

History section[edit]

So far it's only one line. I think something about RW 1.0 and its origins could be included, but I don't have the dates. 07:50, 18 September 2008 (EDT) Totnesmartin

I was just about to raise this. We are currently calling this RationalWiki 3.0 Which began here. Anyone know when RationalWiki 1.0 started? - π 03:50, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Feb or Mar 2007. Ask Trent? Also, we have a RW:history article that is reasonably accurate, please to update. ħumanUser talk:Human 07:20, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
I fix, ok? ħumanUser talk:Human 07:22, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

This part sucks[edit]

Indeed, it is as if Andrew Schlafly, in an overly complicated metaphor, was maritally raped by a stick of kryptonite, and, choosing life, gave birth to Conservapedia. A child, from the moment of conception (i.e., when life begins), bent on its own destruction. This a hideous chimaera of bad writing and clumsy metaphor. It also incorrectly implies that CP wants to destroy itself, which isn't so. I'd delete it but I'm a newbie and I don't want to tread on people's toes. It is suppose to be a clumsy metaphor. - π 12:46, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
But why have a clumsy metaphor? It's not even about this site, it just looks like someone stuck in a rant about Conservapedia that wouldn't fit elsewhere. Real first name and last initial 12:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Well lets see if anyone else shows up to comment shall we? - π 12:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Verily, I believe that Rfn&li hath an point. I am eating Toast& honeychat 12:59, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I support ditch, any more takers? - π 13:01, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Actually it would be nice to elaborate more on what we do now at that point instead of looking back at CP so much. - π 13:04, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
True. But I'd definitely ditch that line. –SuspectedReplicantretire me 13:05, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay I have removed the paragraph, it is definitely a nice segue to pimp some of our new stuff. - π 13:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I think that whole section needs to be re-worked to make it less CP. The CP stuff should go to the history section.--BobNot Jim 13:26, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Feel free. Or maybe a section RationalWiki and Conservapedia? - π 13:32, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
It's just that I'm a bit reluctant to edit such a foundational article without a bit of discussion first.--BobNot Jim 14:13, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

founder?[edit]

more on this and why founded again? Tommy0210 (talk) 23:47, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

See RationalWiki:History. Does that answer your questions? -- Nx / talk 23:50, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

RW talk pages[edit]

At least one library is blocking (some of) them on grounds of profanity.

Like I told you over at the Saloon Bar--too bad for them that their Puritanism gets in their way of engaging with the world. Someone should buy them a drink and tell them to relax. P-Foster (talk) 17:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
