2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Reason for deletion template[edit]

Personally, I love the Onion. But, this article isn't serving a purpose, telling anyone something they didn't already know, or doing that anything really that WP couldn't or isn't. Plus, it's not really mission related. ThunderkatzHo! 21:48, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

I say keep it. We've got plenty of server space, and the Onion often does a fine job of explaining things in a very humorous way. --Gulik 22:19, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
If we can't have an article on the OOOOOnion, what are we, chives fans? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:39, 29 May 2008 (EDT)

Stormfront on the Onion[edit]

https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t46149/ I love that humor newspaper. It is very important for WN to laugh, have a good sense of humor. People are naturally drawn to positive, healthy people with a good sense of humor. The media pushes the lie that WN are all biter, hateful, losers. I find that humor and especially sarcasm work better in countering the anti White lies of PC. --john robinson 03:31, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

Re. The Onion: Think I'll Just "Plant*" This Here[edit]

Of the large amount of The Onion's sister sites, I wonder where on the rationality line does this particular one falls upon: https://www.theroot.com/ *(also. seewhatididthere?) Chair tater (talk) 04:31, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
