@Cosmikdebris Can you alphabetize the countries listed here? Could you also put stuff like Northern Ireland into parenthesis next to the UK? Pizza SLICE.gifChef Moosolini’s Ristorante ItalianoMake a Reservation 22:08, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

There are also many countries listed in multiple places. I really liked the old template better. Pizza SLICE.gifChef Moosolini’s Ristorante ItalianoMake a Reservation 22:09, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Placement[edit]

Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are transcontinental countries, similar to Cyprus and others they should also be placed in Europe. --Pdfkaq1 (talk) 23:00, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

They are geographically fully within Asia, its only geopolitically that they are considered part of Europe, they are not transcontinental. Lavalizard101 (talk) 23:05, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
By that logic, Cyprus (which is geographically located entirely in Asia) should be removed from the European section of the template. Azerbaijan and Georgia are transcontinental countries, small portions of their territories (10% and 5% respectively) north of the Caucasus Ridge are geographically located in Europe.--178.70.239.1 (talk) 23:08, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
The United Nations' classification of world regions places all of them in Asia. Further the part of the Caucasian mountains which falls on the European side of the watershed border Ciscaucasia falls entirely within Russia, Cyprus has only been included with Europe politically and culturally, bc its an island no Europe-Asia boundary definition changes Cyrpus' geographical falling.
