A forum, now? I waste enough time online, dammit! --Kels 16:01, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
Just curious[edit]
Hands up anyone who thinks the "clean slate" rule is incompatable with "calling someone on their shit", particularly shit they've done since signing up here? Anyone? --Kels 06:54, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
- I'd say, in all fairness, that the clean slate should prevent the bringing up of past behaviours. Calling people on shit they've pulled after they've signed up with a clean slate is fair game IMO. Trashbat 06:58, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
The Daily Show?[edit]
I couldn't find the Daily Show on YouTube, but here's someone else ranting about it: Truth With A Capital 'F' --Gulik 22:26, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
- Wow...guy's amusing in spots, but his delivery needs a LOT of work. --Kels 12:21, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
- Also, I just took a look at CP, and they've got a LOT of new editors signing up. some of them a trifle...uncomplimentary. I forsee mass bannings in the very near future. --Gulik 22:35, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
- And....yep. There's Aschlafly dealing out the blockage. That's one gang of sneering East Coast Elite who will never pollute CP with their blashpemous ravings! --Gulik 22:51, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
- I added it to CP:In the media. When the clips are on utube we should add a link. I hope Andy gets a surcharge for BW tonight ;) humanbe in 00:32, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

- The Daily Show is shown at 20.30 on More4 (SKY) in the UK. However, I don't know how the timing corresponds to the US edition. It seems a bit early for the current day so may be yesterday's edition. If so I have my PVR set for it. Watch this space! God's peed Babel fishÅЯ†ђŮŖ ÐΣй†Now look here! 12:52, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
- Yeah, tonight's edition on More4 should be the one -- Stevo (talk) 12:53, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

- Won't be me - don't know owt about video editing & that -- Stevo (talk) 13:08, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
- Viacom sadly tries hard to keep Daily Show clips off youtube, preferring to force people to use their own slow unlinkable frequently-doesn't-work-but-at-least-has-advertising clip system instead. It's not working for me right now, but if you go here, use the broken little fake scroll-bar in the 'Most Recent Videos' section to find the 'New Media' clip and click it, that should be it. Fuckin Viacom. --jtltalk 13:29, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

- Thanks for that link jtl. It's only a brief mention -- Stevo (talk) 14:46, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

commenting on news on this template[edit]
without discussion. Is not really fair to the community. I appreciate the sentiment, but at least 1. don't remove "welcome to RaionalWiki", and 2. try to be inclusive the first change. 3. discussion would be nice - I'm sure the mob would be glad to say something about some events.
If I had any prayers to spend, I'd be sending them to the Iraqis we are killing as the bridge disaster unfolds, as well. humanbe in 22:35, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
- Further question for comment: Do we comment on news on our main page? We haven't before, and this time "we" only did it as one user, who did not discuss it here. This is not a newsblog. There are plenty of them. Until further response, I am removing comment on "breaking news" from our main page. humanbe in 00:16, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
"==Breaking News==
Autism Quack Indicted! " This probably would fit ok in "according to", which is a bit newsy. Ice deleted it from here, where it doesn't really belong. Also, should it be mentioned in one of our autistic articles? humanbe in 17:58, 23 August 2007 (CDT)
Thoughts[edit]
Can we have some thoughts & 'prayers' for those in Darfur, Bangladesh, China ..... Oh of course, that's in foreign parts isn't it - silly me. Keepit under your hat! 00:01, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
- Silly you, indeed, dead Murkins are worth at least three "old europeans" and twelve "funny colored" people. Especially if we murdered them. Sheesh... humanbe in 00:23, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
