More tools. Yay. Тytalk 21:20, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- More tools how? You've already got the ability to delete something if you think it should be deleted straight away. Or if you think it should be discussed, use the Delete template. This one is a useless template. See also Template talk:Speedy. WěǎšěǐǒǐďMethinks it is a Weasel 21:36, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- This is mainly for a neglected deletion discussion, which can go one of two ways: someone uses this template to fasttrack a resolution, or removes the original delete template. Blue (pester) 21:37, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- In that case it's probably not "speedy" that you want to call it, just in case people confuse it with speedy deletion of WP style. Perhaps sticking a parameter in the normal delete template that flags it up for a fast-track resolution. d hominem 23:06, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- This one is designed to get attention, that's why it's completely different in wording and icon than the regular delete template. Blue (pester) 23:11, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- Pages nominated for deletion don't get attention because nobody checks the deletion categories, not because the template isn't eye-catching or strongly worded enough. If you find a deletion discussion that's ground to a halt & been neglected, it's best to go with your gut & either delete or de-template the page, either of which can easily be undone if anyone objects. Alternatively, bump the discussion with comments on the talk page. But taking one template off to replace it with another seems like a pointless pen-pushing exercise. ωεαşεζøίɗMethinks it is a Weasel 02:08, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes.... but we all know where going with your gut regarding major things leads. sshole 02:47, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Deleting a page that nobody cares enough about to follow through a deletion discussion isn't a major thing. WéáśéĺóíďMethinks it is a Weasel 02:52, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, did I say "major" thing, I meant any thing. d hominem 03:35, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

- The template was a way to try and bump discussion anyway. Blue (pester) 02:50, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Bumping with a comment is better than drive-by templating. WẽãšẽĩõĩďMethinks it is a Weasel 02:52, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
