Steamed or fried[edit]

Ah, but does it go well with chicken? The Goonie Punk Can't sleep, clowns will eat me! 20:56, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Hm...Depends on the chicken and the dumpling. I say, grilled chicken/teriyaki chicken goes well with steamed dumplings. Fried dumplings are yummy. Period. Not sure if I can say much on fried chicken though...--Dumpling (talk) 21:01, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Nom![edit]

Steamed dumplings! om-nom-nom-nom. --PsyGremlin話しなさい 09:44, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Gyaaabo! OMNOMMIN'! Steam Dumpring is Dericious!--Dumpling (talk) 09:47, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Gyaaabo? Is this a Nodame fan I see before me? --PsyGremlin講話09:51, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Chuu! -bows- Yes!ヽ(´▽`)/ I am glad someone was able to catch on to that. I actually have always made that sound when I was younger, but then I read the manga, watched the anime, watched the live-series drama, and all of it makes me very happy. Nodame is very much a silly version of me.--Dumpling (talk) 09:54, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Lol! Never underestimate the power of otakudom :) Haven't seen the live action versions, but really enjoyed the anime.--PsyGremlinRunāt! 10:01, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
OHOHO~ Of course not. The power of Otaku-dom is a scary, yet thrilling sight, if done right. Anyhoo---The anime was very good. The live action drama and movie were very cute. Silly. And Sweet. If you're ever interested in watching the live version: [1]...Has many Asian dramas and films.--Dumpling (talk) 10:07, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Cool tx! Haven't watched many l.a. series - Moyashimon & Liar Game are pretty good. Also have l.a. Girl who leapt through time and Nana & kaoru to watch. Here's another link for you - has some good stuff. --PsyGremlinSermā! 10:17, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
OoOOoooH~ :D Thank you! Hm~ There's the Live action to Gokusen (1,2,and 3), Absolute Boyfriend, Hana Yori Dango, Hana Kimi...actually, there's a lot...now that I look back on them all. --Dumpling (talk) 10:23, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Honourifics[edit]

Yaw bo seh yo! I'm curious - you mentioned in the Saloon Bar about "respectives" - you'll have to forgive me, but I know nothing about Korean language or culture (although they do make some kick-ass animation and horror movies!!). However, I do know from my exposure to Japanese that they're big on honourifics - -san, -chan, -kun, etc. I'm assuming Korean has something similar then? Or is Dumpling-chan appropriate?--PsyGremlinZungumza! 09:18, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Psy, have you thought of asking Ed?  Lily Inspirate me. 09:30, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
I would rather jam fondue forks into my eyes than deal with creepy Uncle Ed again... in any guise. --PsyGremlin話しなさい 09:37, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Is he into guise now? (Sorry, Brxbrx pun)  Lily Inspirate me. 09:39, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Haha. Oh my~ ;D Anyways~ It's okay, not many people are really that interested in Korean Language/Culture, until rather recently with the upcoming of Starcraft and Kpop. But yes, in general, Asia is really big on honorifics/'respectives' (Are they the same? I suppose I'll have to look it up). Korean honorifics are just a tad bit more complicated (or at least I think it is) than Japanese. But in general, I would have to call you:
  • "Psygremlin-"Sshi" (similar to 'san' in Japanese)--Very formal
  • "Seonbae"---since not only are you older than me, but you've been on RW longer than me, so that would make you my senior, and you would refer to me as just Dumpling (no Honorifics since you're of a higher degree and I'm lower) or as Hubae, meaning 'junior'.
But if we were close friends, I would be able to refer to you as:
  • "Psygremlin-Oppa". Oppa---"Older brother" (can be used as a literal, older brother, or older male friend---But this is ONLY when a female is talking to an older male).

Hope that helps a bit. (ó㉨ò)ノ--Dumpling (talk) 10:01, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

It helps a lot!! Kamsahamnida! --PsyGremlin話しなさい 10:13, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Kipi & friends[edit]

Not sure if you know about this - more cuteness than you can shake a bit stick at. All together now: "Kawaaaiiiiiii!" And if Kipi was my daughter, there's not a chance in hell I'd ever let her set a foot outdoors - have to protect her from all those creepy otaku. --PsyGremlinSpeak! 10:30, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Oh wow. This is new~ Haha. Anyways, Kipi in her cosplay and Kipi in her just ordinary day life is actually pretty different...besides the fact that she seems to always have those 0.7 size circle lenses. Haha. XDDD She is super cute though. Oddly enough, that's what my male friends say about Kipi as well. Something about her brings out the 'fatherly' protection in them. I can't really tell sometimes though.--Dumpling (talk) 15:10, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

I am terrible[edit]

When I was but a wee child I would listen to music like this. I am ashamed of it and yet it remains a guilty pleasure. I've never gotten into kpop though, too bouncy I think. Although Tik Tak by Seo Taiji is pretty good. :( HollowWorld (talk) 09:05, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

Haha. No worries. I'm still a Jrock Fanatic. Dir En Grey, GaZette, Gilgamesh, Kaggra,,AnCafe (before Bou left), Etc. Etc. Etc. (I can go on and on) But yes, I agree, KPop is definitely too bouncy. It's either bouncy...or it's a ballad. There are very few Korean artists that I would actually call...'talented', but that's of my own personal opinion. :D But, it's not too bad for variety. (Oh god. Seo Taiji....brings back memoriesss~)--Dumpling (talk) 12:29, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
That's nothing, I used to listen to this
CrundyTalk nerdy to me12:31, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Holy Crap. I remember that movie. O____O...I don't remember the plot. I just remember watching it and not knowing a single word of English...--Dumpling (talk) 12:35, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Oh Dir en grey! I was at their first American tour! I remember the 'rape me' bucket Kyo put on his head. As far as I've seen, Korean music just looks for pretty faces, haha. I like Gazette, Gilgamesh, Vidoll (their earlier stuff before Jui turned 31... he has a LOOOONG career in VK for someone his age, most would stop by then. Also, thighs.), Nightmare is also kind of good, D's Asagi has damn impressive pipes, Noir Fleur was weirdly nice, so is -oz- and GHOST was nice when it was around. But I have a terrible taste in music. Also Crundy that video scares me. :c HollowWorld (talk)
I also heard Bou had to leave because either his nose job's bills caught up with him, a relative of his was dying, or he got a girl knocked up. So many rumors. HollowWorld (talk) 12:58, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
I confess to being a bit of closet Jpop fan... although I can't say I've heard much good lately, apart from Kalafina. However, these are probably my two fave artists (and songs)

-PsyGremlinSnakk! 13:16, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

HOMG! I WAS TOO! I think...that was wayyyy back in 2006. I was super little/young. I went to the one in Texas though. And yeaaaah. Korea in general is more leaning towards "Perfect Aesthetics". Everything they do is mostly based on that really. But a few Korean artist (that arn't all...Bouncy and well...like every other group, though I do listen to them for fun~ Not saying they're bad...just not quite my favorite):
  • Drunken Tiger
  • WAX
  • Outsider (Korea's fastest Rapper)
  • Yiruma (Pianist)
...Just to name a few.
JUI TURNED 31!? GAAH! Noooo. Nightmare is very good. Asagi is a sexy beast with crazy sexy vocals. I do like Noir Fluer...not on the top of my list though. L'arc en Ciel was good too. HYDE. Miyavi (Heh. He was good too when he was in Duel Le Quartz). Gackt (Ehhh. I liked him in Malice Mizer). Buck-Tick is love. Ahh~ So on and so forth. Haha. SOOO MANY RUMORS ABOUT BOU. It doesn't really matter anymore...besides the fact he makes me feel less like a girl.

@Psy---OH! MEMORIES. Wooow. Haven't heard them in foreeeever. And Melody. But that's 'cause she has two kids now with Miyavi.--Dumpling (talk) 13:27, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

This is another band I sort of like. Trigger warning for overdone gore. And YEAH JUI IS AN OLD GUY NOW. Gackt has so much plastic in his face, he'd melt if he stood out in the sun. I like Mana and his clothing line, M13M is alright too. OH!

I loved Candy Spooky Theater back when they had Zull! Now I feel like such a nerd for spamming up your page...

But it really needs some Pink Spider.

Always loved this song. HollowWorld (talk) 13:39, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

CANDY SPOOKY THEAAAATER! AH! D: I miss Zull.

HIIIIDE! D: I miss Hide too. But no worriessss~ Nerds are awesome. :DDDD--Dumpling (talk) 13:41, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

WE ARE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. HollowWorld (talk) 13:47, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
YES INDEED~ ;D Haha.--Dumpling (talk) 16:05, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
I, personally, have found some Jrock artists somewhat attractive, even those in VK despite the fact they make better girls then I do. It's funny, whenever you see them in clothing which shows their arms suddenly you remember they're men! HollowWorld(talk) 04:51, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

I KNOW RIGHT!? -coughAsagicough- Ohoho! --Dumpling (talk) 07:57, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Oh Asagi is pretty good looking! Shame he's a married father supposedly. Most of the GazettE members are pretty cute too. Except for their old drummer. HollowWorld (talk) 11:51, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
-sigh- Shame indeed~ And yeah. Most of the Gazette members are fairly attractive...I still love Aoi the most though. . .Man these all bring back memories.--Dumpling (talk) 20:02, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
We should exchange IM client details then giggle like little Catholic schoolgirls over things like Asagi's voice and why no one should love Glenn Beck. HollowWorld (talk) 11:24, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Haha. Sure. I'll send you an e-mail with my contact info~ ;D Not so sure about the Catholic part, but giggles and the disliking of Glenn Beck I can approve on. ;D--Dumpling (talk) 23:07, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

FUUUCK YOU[edit]

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS DUMPLING AHAHAHA I love you.HollowWorld (talk) 19:24, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

HAHAHA! Oh god. You read this too!? XD Slash face to the extreme. Mucho Love and Hedgehogs. <3--Dumpling (talk) 20:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

I wish people wouldn't delete sections, but anyhow here I am now...[edit]

...answering a question I'm sure you don't care about enough to hear the answer anymore: the grammatically correct and most-sticking-to-the-orignal would be "Vebrennt es mittels Feuer!" or "Verbrennt es mit Feuer!", but nobody says that. "Vebrennt es!" ("Burn it!") would be pretty German. But I've also never heard somebody calling for anything to be burned in German (people, books, sausages…), so that's just how I would think it would be said. --ʤɱ socialist 19:42, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

YAYYY! Thank you very much for clearing that up for me! I was actually rather confused when I compared my version from when I went through the conjugation processes and such to the google translate version, and was like: NOOO! What'd I do wrong? D< Damn you Google Translate. But yay! Thanks again! I'm still in the learning process for German. Correct me anytime!--Dumpling (talk) 01:35, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Chocolate part deux[edit]

My hubby and I were at a Scottish/Irish festival and found a sign at one of the candy makers that said "Caution, our chocolates have a tendency to make your clothes shrink!" :-) Smart people.Pink mowse.pngGodot Warning, chocolate will make your clothes shrink 14:20, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Haha~ :D How cute! I would love some of those clothes-shrinking chocolate. BWahahaha!--Dumpling (talk) 14:48, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, i'm on the "clothes increasing" diet. sighs. so i only get one hershey's kiss a day. I praise that kiss. google over it, and nibble at it like i was a little rabbit. ;-)Pink mowse.pngGodot Warning, chocolate will make your clothes shrink 13:52, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Wow. Amazing. o_______o...I wish I even had Hershey's kisses...the almond ones. Haha. I should probably get one later. Gaaah...Little bunny=Chocolate Rabbits= NOM. --Dumpling (talk) 14:35, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
