Pibot[edit]
Why not have Pibot do the heavy lifting when it comes to archiving? --PsyGremlinTal! 19:21, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Because today, the robots archive our talk. Tomorrow, they travel back in time and try to kill Sarah Connor. Just saying. Blue (is useful) 00:00, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Are you leaving? If so, I hope you come back someday. --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 19:36, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- As do I. What happened? You were by far one of the coolest people here after you returned. Come back! Please? See, I said please. You have to come back! The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 13:56, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Is it true you are cool enough to let us vandalize your userpage? Much like my PunchingBag account? That's freakin' sweet! The Goonie Punk Can't sleep, clowns will eat me! 08:41, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to be careful here, so that the drama doesn't follow me here, but I think you were being genuinely helpful with what you said on Human's talkpage about his use of rollback. It was something that, had I been around, I would have done myself. Punky Your mental puke relief 16:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, thanks. I kept trying to be level-headed... difficult when you're being called "silly," vindictive, and stupid. I think, like LX, that even though I was originally not in favor of anything but a friendly warning, Human's way of responding to complaints has made me angrier. Blue (is useful) 17:04, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- I understand. Human's conduct on the Wiki can be considered highly irrational at times, to say the least. Since I am a late-comer to this, I'm gonna try to moderate this situation from an outsider's cool-headed perspective. Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 17:13, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Minor request[edit]
When you go on a catting binge, can you make yourself, or have yourself made, a bot, so we can see the rest of what's going on? No big deal, but it's usually how we do such things. ħuman 02:38, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not a 'crat, so I suppose I should have a bot account made, right? Blue (is useful) 02:58, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- If you like, sure. Or just ask a friendly 'crat to do and undo it. If you want to create a bot account (I think a crat has to make it a bot?) just ask. You're probably almost done by now anyway... or are you? ħuman 03:01, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Minor request 3[edit]
Since you seem to decatting and recatting the entire site, perhaps you could discuss your aims and plans with the group? ħuman 03:49, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I am trying to declutter and streamline the system. We have a few hugely bloated categories, like category:politics, and I'm trying to divide them further into subcategories. The vast majority of my adjustments have been working toward that goal, like removing category:history from an article and replacing it with category:United States history, or removing category:politics and adding category:political terms. Blue (is useful) 04:00, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- OK, but such acts might need to be run by the community, I think? For instance, I see no problem with the "bloated" cats - why not have every article on politics be in cat:politics? Of course with the smaller cats as well on the article. I guess I'm a bit of an "inclusivist" when it comes to cats. People may agree with what you are doing, I'm not saying they won't, but changing hundreds (thousands?) of cats without talking to anyone else about it might come across as a bit heavy-handed. ħuman 04:04, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I don't really see anything wrong with large categories, perhaps create the sub-category but leave the master cat on the page? --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 04:17, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- (EC)OK. "Thousands"? (what happened to my life?) Why not have every article on politics be in cat:politics? Because the hundreds of articles in cat:politics make it useless to go through and find the one you're looking for. It seemed like subcatting was just common sense... I can't think of any reason to confuse readers by linking to a gigantic cat that could be accessed through the more relevant, more specific cats. And I thought I had tacit approval from yourself and Nx (and since I was allowed to keep doing it for days without anyone accosting me...)
- But if you have an issue, we can discuss it. I'm done for the near future. Blue (is useful) 04:18, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I mean, discuss it on the saloon bar, really. Most people are overwhelmed when someone makes hundreds of edits like that and so they glaze over. As I said, maybe no one will care or be bothered, but this is a major site navigation issue that others may want to have some input on. It took me days to figure out what you were doing, by the way. ħuman 04:28, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Okay then. I'll start something in the saloon bar. Blue (is useful) 04:30, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

- I... see? Yes, I see. Well, thanks. And as a quick and random aside, how does one attain the "Newt" usergroup? Not that I would usurp it, of course... Blue (is useful) 04:42, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think a witch has to turn you into one, and not turn you back. I also think it's done server-side. ħuman 04:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
