Fun talk:Trent Toulouse

Why does cp founder get an article, but not the keeper of this site. Your disrespect is disgusting. TmtamesP 22:13, 6 March 2008 (EST)
- Because this site ruins the internet. -Judas Reward 14:04, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

There is discussion on here to delete this article it should have the delete template. BTM 13:55, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
- Sorry - wasn't really paying attention.PFoster 13:56, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
- Can I suggest a redirect to his user page or to delete the article. As written it is really silly and adds nothing and is certainly off the mission statement. Or you could put it in that fun thing but that doesnt seem like that great an idea. BTM 14:07, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
- As written it is really silly and adds nothing and is certainly off the mission statement By virtue of being silly and adding nothing it is perfectly on mission statement. As well, a touch of humourous self-criticism is what sets it apart. Finally this is TMT's
important wiki projectpissy little blog, so he should have an article as does Schlafly on CP and Jimbo Wales on WP too lazy to check that last one, hope it's true... PFoster 14:12, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

DO NOT DELETE - Tmtoulouse is highly notable. SHahB 14:52, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

- I think the article is pretty well-written, true and verifiable, and has plenty of SPOV. So what's your problem, "BTM", if that's your real name? human 15:37, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

Please, no reverts[edit]
What is the problem with the article? SHahB 23:16, 19 May 2008 (EDT)
- It makes no sense at all, doesn't fit into the style of the main article space and is a non-notable subject. Either say something other than stream of consciousness nonsense, move it to fun, delete it, or redirect it to the user page. BTM 23:18, 19 May 2008 (EDT)
- Here is what it used to say:
Tmtuolouse (also spelled Tmtoulwoose) is a despotic online ruler. He runs a fringe website and persecutes anyone who shows the ability to think freely. He is well known for writing crappy articles[1] and for being schooled to tears by Denise O'Leary.[2]
- Bohdan, please - do us, and yourself a favour, and just run away and play with the traffic in the road. You're presence is....pointless. DogP 23:22, 19 May 2008 (EDT)
- And the current version is even better than that. Perhaps we could agree to move it to "fun"? human 23:24, 19 May 2008 (EDT)

Delete nom[edit]
Some drive by color added the delete template with the comment ""Pointless, overly self-referential and pointless once more"
It is, however, funny in several places, and tucked safely away in the "fun" space. ħuman 17:11, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- Where are these funny places? Pink("Fun" space indeed) 17:12, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- There was something about the "Toulouse baramin" as I recall, also the thing about him crying over his schooling... actually, most of it is funny. ħuman 17:20, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- Well, two things, really.
- 1. Nothing in this article is funny.
- 2. By your celebrated "anything funny has to be directly related to an argument" theory, almost all of it would have to be removed anyway. Pink(H) 17:26, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- 1. That's your opinion, I chuckle at most of it.
- 2. Huh? Even if that was our "rule" in the mainspace, this isn't the mainspace. And there isn't a "rule". ħuman 17:42, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- 1. Great. That's your opinion. Once again, you've forgotten that you're not right by default.
- 2. Who said "rule"? I was merely point out that your theory is tragically misguided, and I'm glad you agree! Pink(^_^) 17:50, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'm embarassed at how piss poor it is. Can't we come up with something more amusing? An expose of his writing style and spelling mistakes might be a good start. And nothing about the waterboarding incident! ГенгисOur ignorance is God; what we know is science. 18:09, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- 1. Correct, it's my opinion that it's funny. Neither of us are "right by default". There are plenty of jokes on this site that I "don't get", but that doesn't mean they aren't funny.
- 2. Thanks for the link, but I don't see what "theory" it espouses. Also, that was a mainspace article, right?
- @GK, yes, that would be an excellent addition, if the article survives, of course. ħuman 18:38, 14 October 2008 (EDT)

Compared to some other craptastic funspace articles, this one's not that bad. I'd say delete, but I didn't think funspace standards were being enforced so strictly. Blue (is useful) 03:18, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
