Well, lookee here!--PalMD-Mmmm...Brains! 15:37, 7 January 2008 (EST)

RE: the photos you uploaded, the "&" symbol really confuses the site when it's in an article title, image name, etc, and can really screw things up. Try to avoid them. Thanks. ThunderkatzHo! 15:33, 6 February 2008 (EST)

Sorry about that. BTW, when it didn't work, I uploaded it again with a new name. You can delete the first one if you want. Or tell me how to... PoorEd 15:39, 6 February 2008 (EST)
How? That's easy. First, become a sysop, and then... --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 12:58, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Cool. Sign me up. PoorEd 13:03, 7 February 2008 (EST)
You'll have to ask a bureaucrat for that. I have not been demoted so low myself :-) --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 13:07, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Oh, well, I'm quite comfortable here in the peanut gallery. PoorEd 13:21, 7 February 2008 (EST)

That outstanding performance by RobS (on your user page) was worth reading. Editor at CPBring TK back 11:21, 15 February 2008 (EST)

Glad you enjoyed it. PoorEd 11:53, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Oh, your evolutionist Menstruation article is still there in its place. Hopefully Bethany corrects it as soon as possible. Editor at CPBring TK back 15:13, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Well, it wasn't actually "my" article...I just added some pertinent facts that I hoped might shed a little light on basic human biology for the curious but ignorant home schooler. PoorEd 15:19, 15 February 2008 (EST)

Community Standards[edit]

I put some suggestions on RationalWiki talk:Community Standards to help progress the conversation in a new direction. I view it as a community wide discussion, not arbitration for a specific case. Please comment there. Sterilexx 17:48, 25 March 2008 (EDT)

Q: How do you get Ed Poor to give you another glass of beer?
A: Say, "Pour, Ed!" --Uncle Ed bug me 21:52, 17 April 2008 (EDT)

Hello. I just wanted to point out that you've been this month's WIGO celebrity. NightFlareSpeak, mortal 22:06, 17 April 2008 (EDT)

That's nice, I sent you one, too. No need for all the caps, though. Rational Edperception 15:52, 25 April 2008 (EDT)

The caps are my nod to the urgency of Kenservative's "important e-mail" messages. A public apology and retraction. I treated you like a dick on that talk page and I am sorry for it. I misread your intention to show how slavery was not a universal state of affairs in Africa as an argument that there was no slavery in the three countries you mentioned. Not your intent, I understand. Bad day here. Taking it out on my blog mate is totally not cool. I'm sorry. PFoster 19:40, 25 April 2008 (EDT)

Hey, fuggetaboutit. Apology accepted - and glad that you figured out I'm no slavery apologist. Having lived in Africa I'm probably a bit oversensitive to the generalizations people sometimes make about a very diverse and complex continent. BTW, when no email showed up I actually figured out the allusion to CP and figured things were on the mend. Cheers. Rational Edperception 21:01, 25 April 2008 (EDT)

Goin' huntin'[edit]

Per the main talk page, I'm hunting for appropriate sites to base a new WIGO around. I find the task daunting. So, any advice to a first time hunter? --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 15:57, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

Sure, I'd go along with the suggestion to check out some of the zanier sites cited by some of the zanier articles on CP. The acorn never falls far from the tree, Grasshopper. Rational Edperception 16:02, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
This'll take a while... my criteria are perhaps too specific. I guess what I'm looking for is another Conservapedia, but you can only have one perfect storm at a time, it seems. Maybe I'll look into New Age stuff... --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 16:33, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
New Age is such an easy target, and relatively harmless. Why not go after something more politically egregious? Rational Edperception 17:29, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
