The Conservative Daily News is a conservative news and opinion website. According to the website, it was founded by Rich Mitchell in 2009 under the domain name plainhardtruth.com
,[1] which now links to a Blues band under the name "Plain Hard Truth."[2]
On 24 October 2016, Snopes.com called the Conservative Daily News 'disreputable', after it falsely claimed that Russia would start World War III in 24 hours unless President Barack Obama stopped 'smearing' Russia:[3] Obviously, the war that the Conservative Daily News attempted to predict didn’t happen.
