2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Merge[edit]

Essay:Why RationalWiki is so great and Essay:Why RationalWiki is not so great are pretty stubby. Would it make sense to merge them in? The FCP Foundation (talk/stalk) 21:34, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Wikis[edit]

I've even heard of college professors discounting wikis because "anyone can contribute to it". They fail to realize that you can ... uh... check the sources, which most news outlets lack... Is there an article that covers this?—(((CheeseburgerFace))) Spinning-Burger.gif (talkstalk) 15:55, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

Sadly, I do not think so.--Deli-delibirda! (talk) 10:22, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

Criticism of the "It's biased" section[edit]

Just because RationalWiki has categories reflecting criticism of a wide variety of ideologies doesn't mean that the coverage of all of those ideologies is necessarily going to be equal. It's like "Plessy v. Ferguson"- just because two categories exist and are supposedly "separate but equal" doesn't mean they are of the same quality. 131.194.202.202 (talk) 18:07, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Wait, did OP (sorry for using reddit lingo) just say this is Liberal Conservapedia?[edit]

If it is then, maybe I should be more open minded about conservapedia.Halforc (talk) 01:59, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
