My heart bleeds for the guy, but in his video he really just seems to be blaming everyone else for his problems (btw, how did he get access to Venom's account?): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYnjOsPRoCo&feature=sub --Mustex (talk) 15:26, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Why do christians on youtube always end up asking for money? CrundyTalk nerdy to me 15:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
NU, that's fucking disgusting. EddyP (talk) 15:50, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. Don't care. At least I made a sincere offer to help. What did you do, Eddy? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 15:51, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, for one, I didn't validate any of the many points I don't doubt he made about atheists being worse than Christians. EddyP (talk) 15:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
He once said that anyone who was sick or destitute could ask for his god's help. He then said that if you didn't get exactly what you wanted, it was because your faith wasn't strong enough and his god knew it, debasing the good faith of millions. It's his turn. Surely he's asked for help. I wonder why he thinks he's not getting it. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:00, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
If that's what you want to take him up on, then fine, do that, but don't try and humiliate him with an offer of payment for cheap and demeaning entertainment. EddyP (talk) 16:08, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
He needs money, I need entertainment. His dancing video might not even be as embarrassing as the extremely embellished sob story he used to shill for money. I know this guy. I've had one too many conversations with him. I might be one too, but he is a scumbag. This is his long overdue comeuppance. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:12, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
His comeuppance for vague antagonism on the internet is to be ejected from society? -- =w= 16:14, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
(EC)So when your comeuppance comes too, I can offer you $50 in return for some cheap entertainment? If so, I'd better start working it out. EddyP (talk) 16:15, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Brief summary? I can't be bothered to watch the whole thing. Stupid time Hoover! 16:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
If I saw Fred Phelps break his hip, I would probably just laugh my ass off. That's what I liken this situation to. I don't think you guys know enough about NephilimFree to not despise him. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:17, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Now Eddy, we wouldn't want you feeling bad about yourself, would we? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:19, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I'll make an exception just for you. And the Fred Phelps thing is just a lesser version of Godwin's Law. EddyP (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
NF is not Fred Phelps or even vaguely close. NF isn't even Andy Schlafly. -- =w= 16:25, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Eddy's got me lolling pretty hard with his hypocrisy. I make an exception for a scumbag charlatan like NephilimFree, Eddy gets upset and chides me, then makes an exception for me. What a fucking douche. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:40, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
If it takes as little as that to make you laugh, I can see why you get kicks out of humiliating the desperate and needy. I'm fairly certain that the above conversation (and other events) shows that the only douche here is you. EddyP (talk) 16:50, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Will you two just have sex and get it over with? Sheesh. CrundyTalk nerdy to me 16:51, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Come on, Eddy. Explain why it's okay for you to joke about scoring cheap entertainment off my comeuppance. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 16:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Tu quoque -- =w= 16:58, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
More like Two_wrongs_make_a_right. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:00, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Him joking about it isn't exactly like your offer though. You are not NF. -- =w= 17:02, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
That wasn't his channel. I wasn't really making the offer to him, though it is a deal I would consider. If I wanted to make an offer, I'd PM like we usually do. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:06, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
If we're splitting hairs now, I'm going to point out that he didn't ask for any money or give a donation link. YOUR MOVE. .\____/. -- =w= 17:10, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Ok, I just made him the offer. Your move. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:11, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I have stolen your soul, so I fold. You might be a vampire now, so we should look into that. -- =w= 17:13, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
(ECx6)Why do I feel that your offer to NF and my offer to you are different? Context, you pillock. Below his post about going on the street, you posted a specific offer designed to humiliate and demean; a kick to a man when he's down. I, meanwhile, do not anticipate, and do not wish, that you will ever find yourself homeless, and in the unlikely event that you do find yourself between residences and post about it here, I would not carry out my threat and post a specific offer designed to humiliate. Above I posted an unspecific threat which will never be carried out; a punch to a man who's punching back. EddyP (talk) 17:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
"Oh my god, your offer is so disgusting that I will make you a similar offer!!!" Sod off. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:18, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
What was my offer again? I don't recall. EddyP (talk) 17:20, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
RUFKM? You said you will offer me $50 for cheap entertainment when I get my comeuppance. Just stop, Eddy. Get back up on your high horse and ride off into the sunset. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:28, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Sun's already set, so it looks like that'll have to wait till tomorrow. Did you even read my post about how my offer to you and your offer to NF are fundamentally different? I think you're the one who should stop; you're displaying your cuntery for all to see, again I might add. EddyP (talk) 17:35, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Two wrongs make a right if and only if Eddy says so. I get it. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:38, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
If anyone unindents this I will kill them. Stupid time Hoover! 17:41, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
You still haven't shown how my offer to you is exactly the same in every way as your offer to NF. EddyP (talk) 17:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Neveruse, it's pretty obvious that EddyP wasn't serious, and you aren't actually in a bad situation anyway. Stupid time Hoover! 17:46, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Hoover, I thought it was pretty obvious that I wasn't serious, which would make our offers very similar. Eddy, I hope someone you love dies. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk /
I'm sorry; in future I'll remember that it's the height of good humour to joke about making someone humiliate themselves for money when they're going homeless. EddyP (talk) 17:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
You can take that to the bank and smoke it. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:58, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Beating you in this argument was like shooting monkeys in a barrel. EddyP (talk) 18:11, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
That's disgusting, Eddy. If you think violence on animals is funny, then I'm going to kill your dog. Also, aren't you the whore for internet rules? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 18:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
"As an internet discussion grows and grows, it's often tempting to declare victory and move on, especially if you've rammed the point home too many times and your opponent just ignores everything you say. In this case, declaring victory and moving on may be legitimate and excusable." Have you explained how my offer to you and your offer to NF are exactly the same yet? EddyP (talk) 18:25, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Anyone who resorts to that argument has lost the debate. Explain how our offers were different again? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 18:27, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

You did realize that wasn't his channel, that wasn't his post and that he probably wouldn't be reading his comments. Our offers are the same because neither you nor I intend to carry out our offers. I don't care anyway, I have an important social function to attend. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 18:33, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Didn't your offer contain the phrase 'I'm serious'? -- =w= 18:38, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Doesn't every good joke? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 18:41, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Do you really think NF would have known you weren't serious? -- =w= 18:43, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
(EC)Think you need to work on your delivery somewhat. EddyP (talk) 18:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I didn't think he'd read them. I'm serious. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 18:46, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

The thing that really annoys me is that he seems to think it's somehow wrong of the woman to want to live with her son rather than her friend.--Mustex (talk) 16:20, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Basically, he's just been leeching off a disabled woman for a while who doesn't to live with him any more. He lost his job because he was spending all the time antagonising the rest of the staff and photocopying "Evolution is bad" leaflets to leave around the office (none of that is probably true, but you get the idea). CrundyTalk nerdy to me 16:23, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I've seen a fair few of Nepilimfree's videos and have PM'd him a few times as well. He is a YEC, everyone who knows him knows that, and he makes a lot of videos on the creation/evolution debate. I have yet to see a video of him in which he says something outright bigoted and plain nasty in the sense that essentially everyone at CP does. Yes, he thinks he's 100% right on the issue of creation, and I obviously I know as much as anyone else on this issue given that all we've got to go by in his current life is this video. But if he's telling the truth, he was unjustly fired, etc, etc, why is there so much hostility towards him? Have people stopped caring about other people's lives and feelings? This is supposed to be RationalWiki, it's not rational and plain downright shitty to rip into someone when they're going through an incredibly hard time in their life. Also, I watched the whole video and nowhere in it does he ask for money. SJ Debaser 17:12, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Try "Faith and Miracles". — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:14, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
EC - Thank you Superjosh. I agree completely. -- =w= 17:15, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I tell you now, if they do truly believe and they ask, he will do it...God doesn't do these things for some people who ask because they don't truly believe what they're asking will happen.

--NephilimFree — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:30, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

The world is full of people with a warped idea of justice. Your job is to not fall to their level. -- =w= 17:34, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
(EC)OK, I just watched the video. I hate to see a man like him so taken into religion saying things like you'll only get healed if you truly believe, etc, real fucking convenient, innit? But this doesn't sound that different to what most Christians preach anyway - ask, believe, and you shall recieve, etc. My point remains - he hasn't outright slammed anyone, and I think despite his arrogance with his religion his heart's in the right place. Also, what Mei said. SJ Debaser 17:35, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
What do you mean he didn't slam anyone? Know religious people who died of an illness? Isn't it a shame that they weren't healed because they didn't believe hard enough? — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:40, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
(EC)He's not a bigot; he sees atheists and homosexuals and etc. as being wrong in their beliefs, just as I see him as being wrong in his beliefs. If he were saying 'kill the atheists and homosexuals and etc.' then I would have an issue. But he's not like that. There's a video somewhere of him being worried that his atheist friends won't join him in heaven. He's not a bad man, just, I believe, a misguided one. EddyP (talk) 17:41, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Ed, you've put it perfectly. Nephilimfree is not a bigot. He doesn't call for deaths of gay people like Kassie Dill, he doesn't picket dead soldiers funerals like the Phelps', and he doesn't run a two-bit piece of shit excuse for a wiki which implies black people are mentally ill and milks tragic events to their own ends. We mustn't forget that not all Christians are like Conservapedia. SJ Debaser 17:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
He did herald his god's slaughter of heckling children. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 17:49, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Keeping in mind, the children were probably fictional. Or the bears were. Or both. --Kels (talk) 13:15, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

'If I saw Fred Phelps break his hip, I would probably just laugh my ass off.'

That is negligent. You are letting him escape with one functional hip. He can still hop! -- =w= 16:57, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Now I want to see Fred Phelps do hip hop. Totnesmartin (talk) 17:27, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Indent tower[edit]

Is it frowned upon to unindent one comment at a time when a certain point of indentaional extremity is reached? Thus creating a nice sweeping effect back to the left (not politically speaking of course) DeltaStarSenior SysopSpeciationspeed! 13:01, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Why do you indent, in fact? The is no real reason as far as I can see. I like the sweeping idea though. — Pietrow 13:42, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Hardly. - π 13:52, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Now that's what I call indenting! DeltaStarSenior SysopSpeciationspeed! 15:23, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Video was taken down[edit]

Amazingly, I seem to be the only one who married it. This might explain why I've been getting so many views (now I feel kind of bad for putting commentary on it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEoBQV5WIak --Mustex (talk) 22:26, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I feel bad for the poor woman who had the stroke. They are very worrying for the person. I hope she gets treatment and makes a good recovery. Hamster (talk) 22:40, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Ditto.--Mustex (talk) 22:43, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't feel bad about Nephilimfree. He's the guy who seems happy to worship a god who sent bears to maul to death a bunch of children, and he takes this as some kind of odd endorsement of his god. He's a fundie, and I also hope that the woman in question gets some serious distance between herself and Nephilimfree. --ConcernedresidentAsk me about your mother 00:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

NephilimFree is NOT going on the street[edit]

I was just contacted by a friend of his, who informed me that the lady has moved back in with him (did a very quick video that's uploading now). He asked me to take down my video, but I told him that I consider it a part of youtube history that needs to be preserved for people who want to comment on NephilimFree.--Mustex (talk) 21:09, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Just edit the blurb to say so and you're done. Totnesmartin (talk) 14:21, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
You've deleted it! Why? I agree with your comment above (and Tot's); keep the video as a record but annotate it as necessary. DeltaStarSenior SysopSpeciationspeed! 15:26, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
NF personally asked me to take it down, and eventually I just felt to guilty. On top of that, at least two people told me they have copies, so its not lost. If any of you want a copy, I can tell you who said they have one.--Mustex (talk) 22:53, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
