I read this somewhere:
A Pope in the early 19th century (it may have been Leo XII) was told by 'a mad priest' that the Antichrist had already been born. He asked: How old is the child? On being told 3, he replied 'I will leave it for my successor to deal with the problem.' 171.33.222.26 (talk) 15:28, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
Actually[edit]
It was a means of confounding Malachy and/or creating a form of reverse sedevacantism (the previous attempt, involving Cardinal Siri, having proved unsuccessful).
Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria (took office 18 November 2012) should also be included in the discussion. Anna Livia (talk) 17:42, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Dates[edit]
I note that the British format (11/02/2013) rather than the US format (2/11) is being used.
If someone is bored enough -factor in the relevant date on other calendars. Anna Livia (talk) 18:01, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
