Greetings, Vox, and thanks for joining the slippery sheep wiki! I hope you enjoy your time here. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 03:59, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey Voxy[edit]
Nice to see you around. How's tricks? Acei9 05:54, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
- Good - yourself? Been busy finishing a CD and a complicated film score so I went on an self-enforced "no internet" sabbatical. Nice to see little has changed. Been fun catching up on several months of WIGO-Clog. VOXHUMANA 08:38, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
Nebraska[edit]
I know Nebraska and anything related to it may seem such an amazing interesting state to you outsiders, but my god :P --MikallakiM 07:28, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Francis Hitching[edit]
The Francis Hitching book is not a creationist book, by page 4 and he already claims he accepts the fact of common descent, it was a book against natural selection, not evolution. Forests (talk) 13:11, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
Sorry[edit]
ㅠㅠ for abusing your sock in a parody site. Please, please, please forgive me.--Seonookim (talk) 05:14, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
- Meh, no dramas. If you had angst because of the *real* CP then I understand. VOXHUMANA 05:16, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
Didn't Know[edit]
I didn't know actual Wikipedia admin's were on here. I thought it was just a bunch of people who didn't know much about Wikipedia. I'm extremely sorry about all the harm I've caused (if I caused any). Unrelated question: Can the Wikimedia Foundation ban you for vandalism made on the MediaWiki software? I don't think you can be banned on Wikipedia for just vandalizing some unrelated MediaWiki sites but I'm wondering about Wikia (which I've also vandalized to some extent) because Jimbo co-owns that. Just for information, I have never made a malicious comment or edit that would be vandalism to any wiki directly owned by the Foundation. --209.18.48.12 (talk) 08:21, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Well, you know what they say about people who make big assumptions. RW is not connected to the Wikimedia Foundation in any way that I'm aware of, aside from using MediaWiki to run the site. Wikia and Wikimedia are, to the best of my knowledge, also independent from each other. Ochotonaprincepsnot a pokémon 08:23, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Even though I'm semi-retired. I just wanted to post here to say I checked and you were never an admin on Wikipedia. You haven't even edited Wikipedia in over 4 years. --209.18.48.12 (talk) 07:27, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
- BoN assumes Vox used the same name for an admin account. At any rate, it doesn't matter because this isn't Wikipedia. Ochotona princepsnot a pokémon 07:35, 15 March 2013 (UTC)

Pat on the back[edit]
Good job on pwning that race troll! I'd like to stick around and fight with them more, but it seems that they are only even quarter-assed looking at the evidence I'm trying to show them.
- I don't what possessed me, they're no different to creationist trolls - all science is abandoned when it doesn't suit their ideology. But thanks for the Guinness - good taste is always welcome. VOXHUMANA 09:09, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

O rly? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 01:44, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- LOL :) When I did embryology, some of the of tissue section photos we had were originally taken by Nazi doctors. The rest were taken by some US doctor in the 1950s who aborted women against their knowledge to get samples. Ethically disgusting, but oh well, valuable knowledge is there, so students keep studying them. VOXHUMANA 02:01, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
its amazing work[edit]
but i shouldn't only be seeing 7 posts when i select "50 edits" :P--MikallakiM 03:26, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Do you have ninja rights, Voxhumana? If so, you should turn yourself into a bot, so that you don't crowd recent changes. If you don't, go to tech support and request them. In case you didn't know, "Ninja" is a user group that allows you to grant and revoke bot status (for yourself only). It is made so that users making many minor edits can hide from recent changes. --"Shut up, Brx." 03:31, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- I just checked, and Vox is not yet a ninja. I cannot change that. Where is a magenta telephone when we need one? Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 03:34, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

- (ec) Yeah sorry for that - not much I can do. I tried doing the edits en masse but I kept getting lost and making mistakes, so my current method is the most reliable. But yes, it blocks up recent changes, for which I can only apologise. VOXHUMANA 03:46, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Enh, don't worry about it. When the dust is flying, it means work is getting done. Thanks for all that! Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 03:52, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- I've made you a ninja. Go to Special:UserRights/Voxhumana to make yourself a bot when you need it. Peter mqzp 04:04, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Hope I didn't strike a nerve[edit]
Wasn't aware if you were a Gillard fan or liked a fair shake of sauce bottle and believed that we could solved problems with detailed programmatic specificity. Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 04:09, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- Not a Gillard fan at all. I am, however, very pleased that Gillard's atheism was such a total non-issue here. Of course, with mad catholic Abbott waiting in the wings, Gillard is still the marginally less horrifying option for PM. Turnball would make me happy. VOXHUMANA 04:18, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fair enough, she has turned her back on a lot of campaign promises... Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 04:25, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
The rantings of one internet crank mean a lot if they are true[edit]
And I used two sources. Come discuss relativity on the talk page, maybe you can learn something. 175.193.212.64 (talk) 02:50, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
How do I write your name?[edit]
Nice sig, but when I write it, it's in allcaps and I rather not be too loud. Is "Voxhumana" okay? Civic Cat Talk to Civic Cat 19:42, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Sarcasm[edit]
Pray be a little patient with me. I don't do sarcasm well on the internet >_> Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 03:36, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- Dude, you're a good operator, so there's no need to ever ask for such consideration. As I noted on the talk page, perhaps I'm too emotionally detached from it all to be able to really see it from your perspective. VOXHUMANA 03:42, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'm emotionally attached yes (family in Boston), but as I pointed out, I guess what struck me is that by stressing the Iraqis, he's doing the same thing we did by over-focusing on Boston...simply replacing one horror for another. I'm probably just over-thinking this. Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 03:50, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip[edit]
I thought it meant more piss off I suppose. Though, I was referring to the intent of the posters. I thought they were talking about keeping it as a part of Funspace, I didn't realize that they were debating whether or not to get rid of funspace itself. I had thought Funspace popular, but then I'm still new here I suppose. Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 03:39, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
I feel like I might be the bad guy[edit]
You seem like a reasonable guy, perhaps you could give me a bit of advice. Am I being a bit heavy-handed? I just feel like Andrew Stewart is well-meaning, but too prone to making sweeping generalizations or making off-topic rants. For the Trotsky one for instance, he makes a huge leap with no supporting evidence. And for the Margaret Sanger edit, it's A) not about Margaret Sanger and B) making very crude assumptions about people who hold certain opinions without exploring them beyond labeling them "naive," "racist," and saying that only men engage in this behavior. Should I self-revert? Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 05:29, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- I got no problem with any of your reverts. The Sanger one... that's a no-brainer as she's a living person, so any allegation needs to be backed up for legal reasons. The Trotsky and Stalin ones are ... "unique" viewpoints. Need cites for them to stick. VOXHUMANA 05:34, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Your cloak of invisibility[edit]
Needs mending by a tech or a mod. I've alerted the mod squad. To become visible again, someone needs to uncheck the bot box in your user rights. As far as I can tell, being a ninja amounts to being able to make that change for yourself (and unmake it, of course) and nothing more. Geçmiş olsun, Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 03:38, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I used to be able to do it myself, but now it is greyed out for some reason. VOXHUMANA 09:33, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- It looks like Nutty fixed it soon after it came up on RW:ATIM. Just now I checked, and it appears that you should be able to bot and unbot yourself, which is what ninjas have the ability to do. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 11:54, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
