Doesn't work[edit]

This doesn't work on the main page. The notice overlaps the page contents. -- Nx / talk 10:18, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

I think it may be because we removed the page title on the main page. However the intercom messages don't have this problem. Maybe it's the divs, maybe the show/hide -- Nx / talk 10:23, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
By the way. You don't need to delete it, it is treated as empty if you replace the page with a - - π 10:25, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
It does the same thing at Fun:RationalWikiWikiWiki. It is the no title hack. - π 10:32, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I find the userbox message annoying when I have messages. - π 10:34, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
How does WP do it? - π 10:36, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
It's the infobox class, it does something wrong. BTW, we could style the site wide intercom group differently, even add a logo. And you can change the styling of intercom messages in you monobook if you don't like it. -- Nx / talk 10:36, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
It has float:right, that's the problem. -- Nx / talk 10:37, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Do we get the picture and collapse back? - π 10:38, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

I think we should leave a template here for the future. - π 10:41, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I've fixed it, and it works together with the intercom. -- Nx / talk 10:42, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I am disappointed nobody has commented on the new section thing I stole of WikiIndex yet. - π 10:43, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Time to take this down?[edit]

It's been almost 2 weeks now. -- Nx / talk 10:18, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea. There's no point in going on about it forever. –SuspectedReplicantretire me 10:24, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

How much longer?[edit]

I know the media is beginning to forget about Haiti, so I think it is important to keep pressing the issue, but we can't leave it up there for ever. - π 23:52, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Next Previous[edit]

FYI, "Next" "Previous" links seen at right of notice by anonymous users don't do anything at the moment. Feels broken. --98.207.154.233 (talk) 00:15, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Cross post this to Technical support, it'll get more attention. Blue (is useful) 06:18, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Really? I don't think anyone with the means reads that page regularly these days... Peter Monomorium antarcticum 06:21, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Even so, there's a higher chance of our WikiBears seeing it over there... Blue (pester) 06:25, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Technically, yes. But I did just double the algo thingy, as nobody had responded to things that would be archived in only a few days from now. Peter Monomorium antarcticum 06:31, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Two complete thoughts[edit]

"We are 100% user supported. Donate today!" would be actually grammatically correct. sterilesporadic heavy hitter 11:55, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

We can haz semicolon? SophieWilder 12:03, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

More nitpickery: "halfway" is one word. Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 01:25, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Punctuation error[edit]

Can somebody who can edit this please put an apostrophe in "years"? It's driving me nuts. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 22:00, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

Are those details[edit]

Gonna be posted soon? Or the sitenotice taken down? 32℉uzzy, 0℃atPotato (talk/stalk) 00:13, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Let me adblock it[edit]

Please put a unique id or class around fundraisers, so I can adblock them. I already donate regularly so that I don't need to see this banner ad shit. I could block rationalwiki.org###siteNotice or rationalwiki.org###localNotice, for instance, but then I'd also be blocking non-fundraising site notices. Hmmph (talk) 02:56, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
