@Christopher Check out my dashboard! ClickerClock (talk) 06:13, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Cool! Why isn't the new files one working? Christopher (talk) 08:22, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
Never mind it's because there are no unpatrolled files. Christopher (talk) 08:23, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Move to RationalWiki space[edit]

A page like this, linked to from the recent changes and watchlist pages, would be helpful. What do you think? —Kazitor, pending 05:05, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

Sounds great. @Christopher? —ClickerClock (talk) 05:19, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
Maybe we should take this to the saloon bar. —Kazitor, pending 04:49, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

This a good page. FuzzyCatPotato of the Oblivious Beaks (talk/stalk) 12:44, 20 October 2017 (UTC) I agree. Christopher (talk) 13:36, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

So, just move it to RationalWiki:Vandal catcher or some other, more cunning/punny name? —Kazitor, pending 21:29, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Or perhaps "Unpatrolled pages". Is there a way to make a link to it only appear to sysops? Then again, I guess even if you can't patrol the pages a non-sysop could still revert bad edits. —Kazitor, pending 00:29, 21 October 2017 (UTC)

Cleared up the junk[edit]

Finally, I managed to get my head around the API and various other technicalities to patrol those uploaded images and moved pages. The lists are now empty :D —Kazitor, pending 00:02, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

Great. Mind making that into a gadget? —ClickerClock (talk) 05:52, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
I'd have to look into it (that is, how to actually make MediaWiki gadgets), but also, how would it function? —Kazitor, pending 06:08, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
I have like no idea. —ClickerClock (talk) 07:15, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

Proposed title[edit]

This suddenly came to me: "Wandal watch[er]". Added alliterative appeal! —Kazitor, pending 01:30, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

Since "wandal" is not a word, how about "Vandalizing Wanderer Watcher"? Nerd (talk) 01:42, 19 November 2017 (UTC).
"Wandal" is certainly a word around here, and we all know that when you use a non-word enough times, it automatically becomes a word :P —Kazitor, pending 01:55, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
As one of my high school English teacher would say, "You must not invent new words! You're not Shakespeare." :-) Nerd (talk) 02:03, 19 November 2017 (UTC).
