I did not make this up and it's got nothing to do with Palm (yet).--Bob_M (talk) 07:00, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

I have been up all night vomiting and hiding under the covers, asshole. I said we shall not speak of it. But, since you've already ruined my life, I'll help.DocSock 09:04, 3 June 2007 (CDT) Note:This statement was meant to be ironic and humorous, not insulting. I apologize for equating a good user with an anus.--PalMD-yada yada 15:05, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

I love the creationist parody, although it wouldn't surprise me if I saw it on B4B. MiddleMan 14:19, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

Parody?--PalMD-yada yada 14:24, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

Solved?[edit]

They are apparently parasite infected coyotes according to some sources. Scarlet A.pngnarchist 03:44, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Moving the article[edit]

The current article was moved here from "Chupacabras". Both the old stub-moved-to-funspace and its talk page have been buried in the deleted revisions.--ZooGuard (talk) 09:51, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

"The actual history" section[edit]

Is this supposed to be a joke or an "actual history"? If the former, can it be more obvious? If the latter, where are the sources to verify this? Aspects of culture are often explained by a simple legend; I just need to make sure this isn't one legend or not. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 19:13, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

I removed it. Christopher (talk) 19:39, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
All right, thanks. If anyone finds a good source, the section can be readded. Even if it is a "bad" source or the source says it's just a legend, we can just add it as a popular legend. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 19:42, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
I think the reports of the Chupacabra being based on Sil from Species are the result of confusion. No Chupacabra reports mention boob tentacles, Medusa hair, or transparent skin, or abilities like reading at superhuman speed by finger osmosis, or behaviors like seeking sex with human males above all other pursuits. However, they do report green reptile skin, head spines, and a ravenous carnivorous appetite. All of which match a different alien named Sil, the one from El Doctor Mysterio. Sure, he's a lot heavier than the typical Chupacabra drawing, but that's probably because marsh minnows are more fattening than goats. When we find reports of the Chupacabra having a running feud with Brian Blessed, or stealing the bodies of American white girls for brain transplant purposes, my theory will be confirmed. (Nabil Shaban, who played Sil, is definitely not a Chupacabra—in fact, he's a vegetarian and animal rights activist who's specifically condemned the eating of goats. No evidence either way on Natasha Henstridge.) --157.131.168.209 (talk) 21:06, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
