This is not very good[edit]

Random examples of things people think might be clickbaity. It's basically a snarl word meaning "site I can accuse of merely attempting to bait for clicks". It implies deception at some level - David Gerard (talk) 22:47, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

Worthy title subject though, imo, even if the article could use some work. News report sites use the tactic a lot, and there are serious opportunities for justified up-yours-I've-seen-through-you snark. ProblemChimp (talk) 22:57, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

Tempted to remove lists of sites[edit]

I don't see a lot of point in the list of sites. Quite a lot of the sites listed are "I don't like it". If they're good examples, write text about what they're good examples of - David Gerard (talk) 15:49, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Lists taken out and shot through head. If there's actual writing to be done, centred around the tropes of clickbait rather than listing a site you don't like, the lists are in the page history - David Gerard (talk) 12:23, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

The return of clickbait[edit]

Regarding YouTube's practices (the follow-up to this video on their "trending" algorithm). This is all relevant to fake news as well as to clickbait. (And before you point it out, Ethan titled his video ironically.) Reverend Black Percy (talk) 19:18, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
