Talk:Debunked: gay men have 500-1000 partners
Quotation marks[edit]
(any mod) is it possible to rename the URL format so that it doesn't have quotation marks? I just want that in the title for search engine reasons but they might not be as good in the actual hyper link. E.g. Debunked:_“gay_men_have_500-1000_partners” should be "Debunked: gay_men_have_500-1000_partners". Thanks --Debunky (talk) 03:43, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- Sure. Cosmikdebris (talk) 04:01, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Cosmikdebris sorry I meant I still wanted the " quote marks to display in the title, just not in the URL? I see that when it has the "quote marks" it appears to add %22 in the URL, and thats why we shouldn't have punctuation in hyperlinks. However is it possible for anyone to add quotes around "gay men have 500-1000 partners" in the title of the page so it'll show up that way on the page and in google, but not in the hyperlink/url? It would be ideal if we had options to configure the SEO heading sometimes. --Debunky (talk) 04:58, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- Edit: I had a look at Help:Page title and I can see quotes shouldn't be used in page titles. I'm happy leave it like it is. --Debunky (talk) 05:20, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

10%/90% quote[edit]
I found the 10%/90% quote by Anthony Venn-Brown a bit odd since it's an unsubstantiated and vague statistic, and is located within a page that debunks a different statistic. Bongolian (talk) 08:01, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
