Reviewer for a child journal?

A new list of reviewers for the Journal of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry includes "Emil Kirkegaard" [1], is this the same person? Johns (talk) 17:30, 5 August 2023 (UTC)

I doubt that's him, although it's not impossible. I don't think he mentions this journal anywhere. He might have done so if it was him. Chillpilled (talk) 22:18, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

In which we survey prostitutes about race and sexuality

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/371701597_Racial_Differences_in_Sexuality_A_Sex_Worker_Survey

Kirkegaard and another co-author survey 129 prostitutes about which races they reckon have the biggest penises, which ones like kinky sex the most, and which ones like kissing, breasts, or particular sex positions the most. I think surveying a hundred prostitutes (or sex workers — if many of these weren't prostitutes, that's probably even worse) about what they "reckon" on these, might be more than a little bit flawed. Well, it's a bit funny, if nothing else. Chillpilled (talk) 06:05, 22 November 2023 (UTC) Now that I think of it this is a perfect crossover of both his interests, in sexuality and in racialism. Chillpilled (talk) 06:52, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

Yeah, this is the type of very laughable bullshit "science" abuse typical of the racialist "scientists". Stupidly over-broad "race" generalizations (eg grouping the entirety of East Asia together), a poor response distribution for making any global conclusions even with these broad categories (75% "white European" survey response; all of those surveyed were from the United States)... and using a web survey for these conclusions, where the chance of bullshitting is high. I suppose this "paper" is representative of "sex stereotypes of a certain group of Americans who claim to be sex workers in a web survey". It says little more. Kirkegaard and Edward Dutton and Matthew Archer (of the racist Aporia Magazine) have always had a fetish for black dong but never big white dong. Their racist hypothesis is that black men have giant dong but lowest intelligence. This sort of stuff has been debunked (Richard Lynn, Arthur Jensen et al) where saying the same thing years ago but never gave any scientific data. Their data was all fraudulent or anecdotal. Prostitutes are clearly an unreliable source yet Kirkegaard thinks this is good science. In reality there are no major differences in erect penis size and race. If you look at the scientific measurement studies that have been done the average ethnic and racial differences in erect penile length is less than one centimeter [2]. The average penis size of Nigerians is 5.2 inch [3] yet Kirkegaard who has a small one himself will inflate the size of black men by 3 inches. Johns (talk) 21:47, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Betterment

Don't want to jump into it right away but possibly soon, or at least want to note some areas to better the article. Article likely contains some excesses (I ran into and removed a few without even looking systematically), weirdly enough I would mostly not expect those to be in the stuff related to discriminatory views or kids though. Removed a thing trying to armchair diagnose him with NPD, felt that was inappropriate (quick note: it is very easy for non-professionals or even professionals to confuse certain conditions with each other). A lot of it is just direct quotes, could maybe have something better than that. Lead section a bit lengthy and coat-racked, possibly could be condensed. Chillpilled (talk) 09:35, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
