RationalWiki's 2020 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2021.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Quackmail[edit]

At least one company FoodBabe attacked then paid her as a "consultant" to appear more compliant with whatever BS she was spewing. I've seen others call this "quackmail". But if there are multiple examples, this could really do with solid documentation - David Gerard (talk) 17:02, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

This woman was featured in a recent episode of the "The Reality Check" Canadian podcast. they might have something.--Bob"I think you'll find it's more complicated than that." 17:27, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
Well that's odd. Can't seem to find her on that. Some SKU references but can't seem to easily hit them either.--Bob"I think you'll find it's more complicated than that." 17:33, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Experience Life Magazine[edit]

Her latest appearance on the cover of Experience Life Magazine took down the entire periodical. It is a well known controversy and should be covered. It further corroborates that the general public doesn't respect her purported scientific views. — Unsigned, by: 98.210.194.121 / talk / contribs

I recall their Facebook post where they claimed objectors were food industry shills or something and almost all the commenters called Experience Life idiots for supporting her. Is there a good link to coverage of this shutdown? - David Gerard (talk) 11:32, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Pat Pulling[edit]

What the heck is it and why is it part of a header? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:29, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

I assume it's a reference to the late Patricia Pulling of BADD infamy. --Soviet Hologram God (talk) 07:06, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
