2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

adding categories[edit]

I added an "entry point" category tag, but it didn't show up in the category links at the bottom of the page. is there a bug here, stemming from the presence of the "uspolitics" template, which adds a category link? Rand0 (talk) 10:16, 22 August 2014 (UTC)

NRA membership[edit]

This article pegs the NRA membership at 5 million (to the GOA's 300k). The NRA article specifically calls out the membership number of 4M for likely being inflated and at a maximum 3.1M. Do we have any solid sources for current enrollment? Collinius (talk) 17:47, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

I'd say correct it to something citable - David Gerard (talk) 18:49, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

Relevant quote[edit]

Somewhere in this series the Rowan Atkinson character says that those who want gun licences are the ones who should not have them. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 16:48, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Political positions and activities[edit]

Is there a better source for Larry Pratt being a white supremacist? The SLPC's reputation has really taken some hits in the past couple years, using them as a source is verging on creating a strawman. — Unsigned, by: 24.101.243.48 / talk / contribs
