You should qualify the article name[edit]

@Sqrt-1, I would recommend choosing a slightly different name, a la "Hindu Genocide Hoax" or "Hindu Genocide Hype". I do not know at all about this are, but I have seen that Hindus actually do face a decent amount of discrimination in a lot of places, and there certainly are some areas where strife is so great that an ethnic cleansing war could be triggered. Plus, you never know when an actual historic atrocity might be revealed (I was in my 30's before I learned of the Armenian one) Choosing a qualified name would keep this article, which purports to cover false claims, from running up against any such situation. --Bertrc (talk) 15:21, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

The truth[edit]

I get the article's spirit, but saying that Hindus and Indian inmigrants never face discrimination or violence directed towards them is laughable and patently false. There's a lot of anti-Indian (and generally anti-Asian) racism in Western countries, and occasionally there are sporadic waves of mass violence against Hindus in some Muslim-majority countries (a pretty recent example of this might be the coordinated mass attacks against Hindu families by Islamist militias that happened during the Bangladeshi riots of the past year).

Debunking ridiculous far-right conspiracies do not means that we should engage in racism and intercommunal violence denialism. — Unsigned, by: 2802:8012:8c:5301:bd9c:f1e4:1e74:f5 / talk / contribs

FYI, this article was primarily written by an Indian, User:Sqrt-1, and does have a section on this, "Discrimination in other countries". Bongolian (talk) 08:34, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
