Only...[edit]

Only the true Messiah would deny his divinity. Silver Sloth 12:57, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

What? Well what sort of chance does that give me? Allright, I AM the Messiah.
HE IS! HE IS THE MESSIAH
Now, FUCK OFF!
How shall we fuck off, O Lord?

Actually...[edit]

There's room here for all the controversy that blew up at the time. Totnesmartin 07:08, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

Then we would have to move it from the fun section, did anyone read about how Sue Davies (Judith Iscariot) is now the mayor of a town that banned life of Brian when it came out? δλερνερ διαλέγομαι | συνεισφέρω 07:18, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

For me, personally, the TV debate with Cleese and Palin on one side and Muggeridge and the Bishop of Southwark on the other was an instrumental part of my conversion to Atheism. Ok, I was young and impressionable but the Pythons came across as reasonable, thoughtful, dare I say it, rational, whereas the clerics were a load of blustering fools who couldn't see either the joke or the serious point of the movie. A huge chunk of my already crumbling faith fell away at that point. Silver Sloth 08:01, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

Thank you, Ma'am. "I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!" 122.108.160.217 22:56, 27 August 2008 (EDT)

Life of Christ[edit]

Not sure if you've seen it, but this clip by Not the Nine O'Clock News (featuring Rowan Atkinson!) is priceless. Sound's a bit low, so you'll have to turn your speakers up. --Kels 08:29, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

Important points[edit]

So, this section very much describes the film as a documentary ...

Is that the joke or something? (inb4 copious amounts of Poe) Nullahnung (talk) 02:38, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
