Talk:Marine Le Pen
Note[edit]
Note: While FN's anti immigration policy are note worthy, FN (and both LePens) main focus is on French nationality, destroying the EU, and returning to traditional french culture as a means of regaining world power. Probably worth noting that in both articles. (not sure where else to stick a "reminder to" but here). GodotThe Peyote God awaits 20:14, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
Image[edit]
Where has the image gone? Is this only on my side, or should we look for a new one?--dx (talk) 09:38, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
- It's not you, the site's had problems transcluding WP commons images for a while now. There's a thread on the tech support page about it. SophieWilder

- It's not the Commons bug, the file has been deleted from Commons as a copyright violation in 2013: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Marine_Le_Pen_-_cropped.jpg --ZooGuard (talk) 12:18, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
Worth mentionning ?[edit]
Le Pen has quoted Marx and many far-left politicians, and keep defending left-wing economic ideas (she criticized Macron for letting the poor die). She wants price controls for energy and gas, minimum wage increase, etc... I don't like to make this comparison, but she literally is a socialist AND a nationalist. I don't think these ideas mix well. Diacelium (talk) 23:01, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
Pinkwashing?[edit]
Is it worth mentioning that Marine Le Pen has a surprisingly large number of gay supporters considering that her party has vowed to eliminate same-sex marriage? By "surprising", I mean ~40% of the gay vote rather than the expected 2%. This is because many gay French view fundamentalist Islam as being a bigger threat to them than skinheads/fascists. Putin[edit]
I noticed that there aren't any sources or references given for the entire paragraph about Putin. Either find an actual source or remove the otherwise-unfounded attack. — Unsigned, by: 2600:1700:270:59A0:3C9E:DAB0:226:9703 / talk
