Examples would be helpful[edit]

- This article seems unintentionally ironic as an example of the very thing it is complaining about. It accuses (unnamed) Christian apologists of smearing (unnamed) atheist authors, without naming any of the apologists, or any of the alleged victims of smearing, or citing any of the alleged smears. Maybe it is itself an example of "smear tactics and defamation and slander"? Blacke (talk) 06:01, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Is this actually a thing, let alone a "New" one? Obnoxious, abrasive, blood 'n hellfire apologists doesn't sound like a recent phenomenon to me. Similarly, the ad hominem attacks isn't a "New" thing either, so I really doubt, especially in the absence of examples or citations, that this can be presented as a parallel to "New Atheism". While the latter itself is probably more about style, media savvy, and the coincidence that "The 4 Horsemen" all appeared in the limelight at roughly the same time than about a new type of atheism in terms of ideas, "New Atheism" at least presents itself in a new way. What's written so far in this article suggests that "New Apologetics" isn't even new in terms of presentation. ScepticWombat (talk) 08:34, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
