2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

I see a number of people have worked on this article - but why does it exist? There are number of elementary particles out there, and I can't imagine that we'd want to write them all up.--Bobbing for apples 09:31, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

I feel that Proton and Electron can exist due to Sisyphus' insane comments. The articles don't need to go much further than they already do though. --Edgerunner76 10:40, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
We don't need it at all, I think it was a de-redder initially. It's not doing any harm, is it? Poor lickle fing - I'm feeling all protective now. Susantalk to me 10:47, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
No I've changed my mind - Let's get stubbing. (Long list of red-linked particles went here.) :-)

A much more RW-ific way to go would be to debunk Sisyphus rather than making somewhat useless redlinks. Is anyone going to look at proton in RW? VirileSterileyawn! 11:11, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
