WTF, MC???[edit]
MC, WTF ??? P-Foster (talk) 12:53, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- We have articles on Weapon salve, New Hampshire, Elvis Presley... Among others. And we're not allowed an article on of the great poets and historical novelists of the past century? MarcusCicero (talk) 13:00, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Deletion[edit]
ListenerX has nommed for deletion. I second. ThunderkatzHo! 05:34, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- If he nominated it for deletion, why did he not use the delete template? The mission template and the delete template are not the same thing. Blue (pester) 06:05, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I oppose deletion. It isn't really on-topic now, but you could make it so. Two reasons (1) his book "The White Goddess" has been very influential in pagan circles, but is often criticised as a work of historical psuedoscholarship or pseudohistory. (2) his novel King Jesus - again, one can argue about how historical his presentation of Jesus is here (this work is a not uncommon target of attack by Christian apologists, I dare say not unjustifiably.) (And yes, it's just a novel, but I think Graves meant it more than just a novel, more as dramatized history.) So that is two ways you could make him more mission-relevant. --(((Zack Martin)))™ 06:22, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- That would put it back on mission, but until that is put in, I am keeping the deletion tag up. ListenerXTalkerX 06:48, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- Maratrean sums it up nicely. His autobiography is also of relative importance to our supposed 'mission'. I say we take down the deletion tag and sacrifice Listener to our Gods. MarcusCicero (talk) 16:54, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I say you insert the mission-relevant information, which you should have done in the first place. ListenerXTalkerX 18:04, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- Have you got your SS uniform on today or something? Chill out. MarcusCicero (talk) 20:33, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
